Hershey's in a Pie?

Did you ever eat an Edwards Hershey's Creme Pie? I am having a slice right now and I did not even wait for it to thaw. I like it frozen. It says "consume immediately" and my response would be, "That is NOT a problem!" I am not used to eating anything this sugary and probably will soon be bouncing off the walls. I would like to have another slice, but I know better. Have you ever eaten a whole pie? What is your favorite kind of pie? Do you prefer it warm or cold. Do you prefer to make your own or buy one already assembled?

Carrot cake is among my top 3 favorites, right after lemon mascarpone.

I have not heard of it, but now you're really making me feel like having one or two slices LOL |That sounds pretty yummy drannhh. I am not too much into pies as I wasn't that used to them when I grew up back home, we do have some pies but they're not as popular as other desserts. It was just when I came here that I realized how much more popular pies where in here. But I have learned since that some are just way too good :) Given a choice I prefer to make my own. I can make it just the way I like it and use just what I prefer. Which doesn't mean that there aren't very good pies out there that we can buy. I tend like them a bit warm, and sometimes warm them up in the microwave for a few seconds. I have not eaten a whole pie yet, but I have been tempted LOL

I love the steak and kidney ones. Even more than the dessert ones :)

In the US we have this saying "As American as apple pie!" and I don't know if that is used in other countries here in the American continent, apple pie is one of the kinds that people often warm up. I am not as fond of the traditional pies with pastry crust on the top and bottom as I am of ice cream pies and cheese cake and that sort of thing, but I go easy on the sweets anyway, not that I am not tempted. My big weakness, though, is savory pies, especially with biscuit topping...turkey, chicken, and most awesome of all, of course, steak and kidney.

That really sounds good, but I haven't had it. I rarely eat any sweets. I love Pecan Pie, but I don't think I've had a slice of one in years. Pumpkin is my second favorite. I also like sweet potato and any of the other custard pies. I like my pies ice cold in the summer, but don't mind them warm in the winter. I've never eaten a whole pie at once, but I've had about a third of one, once.

A third is about the best I've done, too, and that would have been a long time ago. Pecan is one of my favorites, too, although I do not eat many sweets either. Pot pies with meat and vegetables are the only kind I like warm, although a warm slice of apple pie with cold ice cream over the top sounds good.

I love some of those frozen pies...the Coconut Creme is definately great. It's Hubby's favorite but I've come to like it too. I like them cold most of the time. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I usually eat the coconut creme when they have it at a buffet, but seldom at home. It is always hard to choose between the coconut and the lemon meringue.

Hi drannahh! I have never had any Edwards Hershey's Creme Pie before, but now my mouth is watering for one! And I would never be able to keep myself from waiting for it to thaw either! And I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from eating just one slice! I love cakes and pies! I don't care if their store bought, home made! I love chocolate! I'm not an apple pie person or fruit pie person! I like coconut custard, boston creme, banana creme and then I go for cakes! I now will be looking for this Hershey's pie on my next trip to the grocery store. Oh, I also like pumpkin and sweet potatoe pie too!

I cannot tell you how much I wanted another slice, but I am pretty disciplined about these choices. In fact, I usually just eat half a slice. I like pumpkin pie a lot, too. We used to make that with homegrown squash, though. We never grew a pumpkin, but sometimes the neighbors used to give me their pumpkin decorations after Halloween and I used to make pies out of them.
