How much sleep do you need to function properly?

i stdied sleep , and i can tell that makes NO DIFFERENCE sleeping 3 hours or 10 hours all comes down to the term of ``QUALITY SLEEP`` that means you sleep and regenerate fast your body energy 45 minutes resting on a sofa , can relax you all day and give you power to carry on with your work!
