Can make Mylot make you a better person, more understanding, more friendly?

Mylot is a site where people can socialize, and because offences are not allowed, because people must to be more polite, more friendly(if they can), change your opinion about what mean to be polite and understanding?
Can a site like this to help people don t be rude with others, and maybe more tolerant?
Do you think that is possible mylot change your way to think about others, about other religion, education level, comunication, about other culture?
Did mylot change something in your way to understand people from other corners of the world?

personally i have found mylot to be a place where most people are able to freely express themselves and give their advices and opinions, i don't believe that mylot can change anyone personally, what he or she is, will be the way they are, the only impact that is going to happen is let them have opinions from other people and some might be appealing to them and that might just slightly change the way they think...and probably next time they are going to write something they would consider what someone else had told...

That is true. Even I am finding Mylot to be a place where people are expressing their thoughts quite freely and I like that a lot. For the topics we are interested in, we are able to get a lot of advise and good information. Although some information given here are wrong and misleading, but it is upto our intelligence and smartness to leave the fake news and grasp the beter ones.

What I have found is that it is so easy for one person to taken the written word one way someone else may take it in a completely opposite way and can be easily offended by something written in innocence. So I feel that myLot can teach us to think more carefully about what we say and in particular write and in doing so be aware of other members feelings.

Maybe you right, here are people from different country and not all speak very good English, and is possible to undertsand something else, but for this exist comments, to try to be more clear...any way, people are nice and understand usual what others want to say...and i saw many times people from Uk who argue with somebody else from Uk too, so, who alike to argue will argue no matter what

I believe mylot is an great social website as it allows us share our personal feelings which we are not able to share with our closer relations.

i've recently joined this site and so far, i've met fantastic people who are kind and helpful. i guess what i've learned from this site so far is to think a little more. i was told by a member that i need to write more than a couple of sentences and write informative posts in order to actually earn money. this made me think for a little while and now i sort of can express myself in an informative way. i've always just cut my thoughts thinking they weren't needed and i'm always lazy haha :P (aren't we all)
i really am enjoying it here so far and i'm so glad i joined.

Oh yes, we learn from each other's opinion, we learn to pray for others when need arises. When we receive positive comments or good advises we bacame more friendly and when we recieve positive or sometimes offending comments, we become more understanding. We learn to appreciate the love and care of others and we learn to love more our neighbors as well.

I think it has for me, there were people I didnt care for but now they are alright. I also am opening up more and am becoming trusting to others. I am feeling better about myself and not beating myself up over not exercising daily due to the fact I am going to hawaii next year. I guess there is light at the tunnel for some.

I think mylot can teach you about things, but I doubt it will actually change ones way of thinking. It would have to be someone who doesnt get out much to do that but I could be wrong.

MyLot is simply a place where people can share opinions, chat and have fun, find people who think similarly to them. it teaches people to construct more valid points about the topic of conversation. but the best thing about it is that, if you dont like the conversation , you can make your own or move on to another without feeling rude or impolite!
