Half way through the year....how are you doing with your new yrs resolution?

Well this year I made 3 new years resolutions....1) Make extra money online from home....2) to get organized....3) to get back into shape.... so far, I have been doing 1 or 2 things a month to get back to being organized...I knew it wasnt something I was going to be able to do over night or over a weekend... but it would be a life changing thing and so far I do really feel much more organized that I did back last year or even earlier this year....I am not there yet, but I am getting there. I have 5 money sites that I work on everyday, and I am making extra money....it isnt much but then I wasnt making anything before so an extra $30.00 a month is better than nothing.... so that is going well--and I am still learning new sites and will continue to build my earnings. well, the getting back into shape... I have been a little bit more stressed this summer and my daughter has been teething all summer and we dont sleep well at nights, so my days are a little mixed up, but then I have been trying to walk more.. for now until I can get my workouts back into my routine. How are you do so far with your resolutions?

Very good question bookreadermom. Well i wanted to get into shape too. So far... its july and i've lost one inch from my waist. its frustrating. because i workout more than 3 times a week. I've been eating far less. but only 1 inch??? *sigh* secondly, better grades. its been good, but not as good as i'd like. so still working on it. I also wanted to stick to routine, sleep earlier and wake up better. But that is not going well, i slept at 4 am last night. studying. no routine here. i'd say i'm trying my best but i haven't seen any results. hopefully i will by the end of the year. good luck with yours.

oh definitely...remember it is a year resolution to make the change...that is why when I decided to make mine I told myself I didnt get this way over night and the things I needed to change were going to take time... all year if I needed it and I have stuck with it, still working on my online sites, making a little bit of money and my house is really coming together so I feel more organized and I am even getting my confidence back little by little with every step I take... so keep it up, you can do it!!!! thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

Well I only had two New Years Resolutions. They were: 1: loose five pounds and 2: stop biting my nails. I think I did a pretty darn good on both of them. I have stop biting my nails, and they are getting really long. I slip up every once in a while, but not usually, and I have lost my 5 pounds exactly. I think these two resolutions are the only ones I have kept in my whole life so far. I hope I can keep more as I get older.

I don't make new year's resolutions anymore. But I wanted to say Kudos to you for still working on yours 7 months after the fact. Me and New Years resolutions just don't seem to work out. Although I guess I go out to buy yarn around that time of year to do a pattern and I usually have the sweater or whatever completed by the next fall. So I guess that could a resolution, right?

definitely, it doesnt have to be something that you do over night and it should be something that you wish to accomplish within the year and it sounds like you do so... so that is wonderful!!! I have been very busy lately and I find my time on the computer in lacking, but yet I do still manage to get a few minutes here and there lately-- I am managing to get to payouts --but I think I could be farther along if I were to find more time online... thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

This year I didn't set any new year resolutions. But I was listening to the radio about how some people get half way through the year and realize how they didn't stick to it or something they should of. So as of yesterday I made my half point resolutions. One I am going to insure my son's teeth or brushed morning and night rather he fights me or not. Two I am going to inforce the potty training more. Three I am going to be more set with my sons sleeping schedule. And five more discipline to get my son back in line and listening to me. It seems overwhelming but I have to do this to better myself as a parent and to get my son to grow up a better person.

I know that will be difficult to hold to it, but you really need to. My son is 6 and he is pretty well behaved and I have been told so by people that only see him a couple times a year...as it was when he was a baby and into toddler years I would stick to what I said if I said no--and now in the long run it has paid off... I hope of course it sticks and that he grows up to understand that I did it to make him a better person. good luck with that and happy mylotting.

I'm bad I never make them, that way I can't not do them. Although I do need to lose a lot of weight about 210 pounds. And that is going to take some doing, and for your baby teething rub pure vanilla on her gums, make sure that is not the imitation that should help.

I made two this year...to quit smoking and leave that creep of a man I was married too. I am proud to say that I have accomplished both. I left that creep of a man on New Years Eve and never looked back. And with a new life, and a new man, and a new baby on the way, I also quit smoking. Yay for me!! This is the first time ever I have kept my resolutions, so I am quite happy!!

I wanted the cliche "lose weight" goal... And then in February I got pregnant. However, I radically changed my diet to be healthier for the baby and I lost 20lbs in the beginning of the pregnancy (dr said it was totally safe, we monitored the baby's growth).... But then I put it all back on cause now I'm six months along... lol. And I know I'm gonna be pressed for time after I have the baby, but I'm hoping that maybe one day... one year... in my one lifetime... I'll achieve my "lose weight" resolution. We'll see.

One of my resolutions was to go to church every week. I've missed church only twice this year so far - and both of them were days that I was sick. So I feel really good about that one. Another of my resolutions was that I wanted to study more for school than I previously have been. I did that during the school year, and now it's summer break. So I just have to keep that up when school starts in about a month. I also wanted to be more social. I'm kind of a shy person, so hanging out with a bunch of people I don't know very well isn't very easy for me. I think I could do better on that one - the past few weeks I've been socially isolating myself. So, I'm going to strive to do better on that one. Those are the ones that I can remember off the top of my head. I think I'm doing pretty well so far! And congrats to you bookreadermom08 for doing so well on your own resolutions! Happy mylotting!

thank you and congrats to you!!! Sounds like you have done well!!! I know it is hard to keep up with things that we want to change and we end up going back to the way things were....but then there comes a time in our lives that we realize if we want to seriously make a change we have to take that first step!! good luck when you go back to school and keep up the rest of your resolutions!! thanks for the response.

that is usually the case for me as well...after a week I forgot I made anything and then I dont do anything about it until the next year... this year though I really needed to make a difference for myself--I just got myself in a rut and now I am working on improving myself. thanks for the response and happy mylotting.
