Interestingly enough...

We've all heard the expression, Life imitates art, but for me, it seems to be the other way around. Too often, I do or experience something, and then read in myLot about someone else doing or experiencing it. A couple recent examples: I just finished a cup of chai tea, then read in someone's discussion that they were going to have a cup of chai tea. Or just now, I had a piece of 77% extra dark chocolate, then I read someone's discussion about a study involving "super" chocolate. (There have been other instances but it's too early in the morning for me to recall them.) Have you encountered anything like this? Even if not connected with myLot...

Early in the morning for me too, need more caffine, where's that Diet Pepsi - can't think right now of any particular case of this happening but think it is funny that it's been happening to you. Sounds like some very special 'connection' you have with myLot :)

Now, if only I could 'connect' with a winning lottery ticket...

I won big on the lottery once, and I kept saying "This must be a dream, I must be dreaming". Then I woke up.

Hi Barbara! Yes, I have too! Is it just a coincidence? Maybe yes, or maybe no! It is kind of cool when stuff like that happens! It makes me feel like I'm not alone and that others are experiencing what I am and we can talk about it and compare how our experience are! That's one of the great things about mylot! Being that there are so many different types of people and cultures you just never know what you're going to find when you open up an email to read a discussion! And I truly love learning about new things and being able to discuss it with friends!

Maggiepie is always reading something and then hearing a word or phrase of it from another source, one that has NOTHING to do with what she's reading For example, she might read, "the look flitted over her face like a butterfly" and hear on the TV about the "butterflies migrating to Mexico." not the exact thing she would hear or read - just an example

I am sure that this is true and I would be happy to cite something to support this. I do believe that life revolves around desire and this is just an opinion.
