If you get more than 50 responses to a discussion, would you comment on all?

I generally try my best to comment on each response that I receive on my posted topics. I sometimes comment on maybe the first two pages of responses and then stop. Supposing that all of you who start new discussions, love to comment on the responses generated by your topic I would like to know if there were more than fifty responses received would you comment on all of them? Would you have the patience to do so? Do you think there is the scope for commenting even on one-line responses? I generally leave these out and comment on those responses on which I feel I have something to say.

I comment on all the responses that I receive on my discussions whether there are 10 or a 100. Even if they are only one line responses I always seem to have a comment that I can leave. I'm a chatterbox offline too so I guess that has something to do with it I find it interesting to comment and learn something about the user who responded and when some of them come back and comment on my comment that is perfect! I have a huge amount of patience and never really find that it needs patience to comment, If I start a discussion it is interest rather than patience which makes nme want to go back and acknowledge each and every response that I receive.

Oh yes we absolutely do! MyLot tell us in the FAQs: '...generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic' http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 and we also know that we earn for ALL of our own activities so as well as getting to know more about the user with whom I am commenting I am also earning too. Really couldn't ask for any more I guess As long as the comments are quality and interesting then they will aslo cause earnings to increase. Maybe youcould experiment and spend one day just commenting on the responses on your discussion without doing anything else. You night bwe surprised at the next update

I think, I will definitely comment with all of the responses done in my discussions. Whatever the number of responses. Because it is your only way of saying thank you to those people who have responded to your discussions. And I will consider it as an achievement on my part because I have made a discussion that is worth responding.

I would comment on each one. I think it is important for people to know that their opinion is valued. Even if it is just saying thank you.

Dear, I can't even get more than 2 to comment on my started discussion. That was how pathetic the discussion I had started on. Anyway, I did stick to general topic, such as Madonna and also rain. But I guess I don't have the magic to attract contributors. But 50? I don't think I have the energy to reply all.

Yes, I do. I try my best to respond back to all the mylotters that have responded to my discussions not easy though bewcause sometimes when I create a new one, the one will just like disappear and I will be more concentrated on the nweest ones. But I check back sometimes to see if I get any new responses. I think it is polite to say at least Thanks to the responders!

Hi oindy, I haven't had to deal with this dilemna yet and don't really expect to, my discussions really tend to run out of steam way before that, I think the most responses i have generated is just over 30. I learnt a lesson from that though, it is quite hard to think of good comments back to all on a limited subject so now I try to broaden the topic a bit if I think it could lead to a discussion rather than just a question i want an answer to. I would comment back on all responses unless they were personally attacking me which I would ignore. When we post a topic we hope to have responses so I know to try and post something I am interested enough in myslef to keep the discussion going no matter how many responses it generates. I couldn't bear to be bored by my own discussion.

I did not start more than one discussion here and that too just a welcome and wishing discussion as I am new to mylot. I got only one response to that and it seems the existing mylot members are not interested to respond to new members discussions. But I know well of the terms of mylot and I will leave a comment to each and every respond that I am getting. Also this will make the members to participate more and more in addition to the increase in earnings.

I will try to respond to each response as much as I can, but I do not think that I am able to do that. If I get more than fifty responses for a discussion, I hope mylotters can understand that I can not comment on all.

Although I haven't been apart of MYLOT for too long, I don't think it's necessary to comment on "all" responses. I think the point of me posting a discussion allows me to just view different sides of the concern. If there were any in which made me think "WOOOAH", then I'll reply to that or questions left for me in addition to the response. I think having to read 50 responses is considerate of me already LOLOLOL... so with that being said. I appreciate you taking the time to read my (or other) responses, especially if it exceeds that number LoL. Bye :)

From time to time I have started discussions where I get a lot of responses. Sometimes I have gotten 50 or more back as well. I can say that depending on the amount of time I have to post back in here depends on the amount of responses I can respond back too as well. But personally since you get to know more people when you can read and respond with them back on your discussions you start I am trying to keep up as I can as well. But I do skip over the one liners and feel if you want a response you need to be personable on here for sure.

I respond to all sensible posts as I think it is only polite to do so. They, after all, took the time to contribute so it is only fair to return the compliment. I normally don't bother with 'one liners' mainly because they often have no content to comment on. When I write a 'one liner' I expect a similar response to 'keep the pot boiling', as it were.

The highest number of responses that I got ever since I started here in mylot is around 120 responses. I never expect that the volume of responses will increase that way. I really do not know on how will I respond to all of them, so what happened is I was able to respond only about 40 responders. Now, what I did for me to comment in all the responses that was given to my discussion, I check from time to time if there is someone who responded in my discussion and once I found out that there is someone,I easily give comment, so i get to manage all the responses even though it is really many. thanks for sharing. have a great day!

It's easy for someone to say that they will respond or give their feedback to the amount of comments posted, but I think it would be a bit tiring if someone does that to every single person that comments. It actually depends on how often someone leaves a comment and how busy you are throughout the day. If someone gets paid a decent amount for every feedback, then we will all do the best we can to earn every single penny. I have been through a situation like this before, but to be honest with you, I wait for the majority of people to comment and give my feedback at the end as a summary, covering all the important details. One thing though, just make sure you don't wait for too long to give your feedback or you will have to give feedback after a certain amount of comments/responses.
