Oh boy!!everybody gotta love the kind of technology we're having today..But if something happens and everything will be taken away from you and you have the choice to choose only two appliance or gadgets to be left, what will you choose?? Kind of a hard question I got here huh??I think it's gonna take quite a long time for a person to think what appliance or gadget he or she chooses to stay..For me I will choose my cellphone for it is very and very useful..that's for me..I think everybody needs a cellphone in case of emergencies or something..and once in a while we gotta stay in touch with our loved once eventhough they're far away..with a cellphone you can do anything, you can text, call, use it as a radio, you watch through it and you can also surf the net..many things you can do in one gadget..Secondly,with the appliance it's bit hard to choose what..but I guess I would prefer to choose the computer, because then if my computer will be taken away from I wouldn't be able to check mylot and I can't really imagine myself without it..it's exactly the same as the cellphone..many things you can do in one.. So what will you choose then??Sorry if given you a hard time to think hehe..I've given myself a hard time too..waah!!

hi friend............. hard question i must say bcoz now most of our work depends on the gadgets or appliances. And for me its my laptop...........i juz cant live without it...as because i have to check my mails.....post and respond to discussions on mylot.......orkuting....add pics and the most important............its my dad's gift to me,and thus it is really very precious to me.............! And i just cant think about living without it anyway........................! Second, comes my ipod...........which is gifted to me by the one whom i love the second most in life juz after my dad.........my love..........and i just love music and thus music plays an important role in my life..........and living without it too is impossible for me.............! These both play a very vital role in my life........and i love them.....and care of them...........even more than me myself...

Well, if such a thing happens as you stated that if we are left to choose between two things I would first of all choose my computer with an internet connection and the other one would be my cell phone. Although I am not particular about the cell phone I just like that the computer remains with me for ever. I can do away with my cell phone but not my computer. I like it so much.

Very true. All the things which were once only in the domain of privileged have now become the knowledge of common man.

I would have to choose the microwave oven and the computer with internet. I watch all of my T.V. through the computer now, and there is so much a person can do with the internet. I would not get bored like I would by choosing a different gadget. I would like to be able to cook food, too, so I would choose a microwave. It is smaller than an oven and can make leftovers as well as first time foods.

I hate cooking, so if I could have an excuse to do it all in the microwave it would be great!

Good question! I'd choose two very different items. One would be a very "low-tech" appliance... my automatic coffee maker. I like my coffee in the morning, and I just couldn't see life feeling right if I had to get up and make old-time "campfire coffee," instead of just pouring from the carafe, because it was automatically made a half-hour before I got up. The other would be my computer with an internet connection-- this, largely from the perspective that I DO enjoy all the information on the web... BUT, here's the thing: If I had a computer, I'd be able to research and get solutions on how to substitute low-tech versions for all the OTHER gadgets I've given up, in your scenario. I almost chose my cell phone... but then decided no; I used to live withOUT a cell phone (I'm old, OK?!?), and if I had a computer, I could still email and talk to people with Skype.

I cannot definitely live without my tv set in my room. I am a tv addict. I watches tv till dawn. I loved watching movies shown over hbo, starmovies, cinemas and the hollywood channel. I am even planning to buy a 5.1 channel sound system just for my tv set in my bedroom. With it, I can truly experienced real drama unfolding via my tv set which will definitely blow me away with its vivid, crystal clear sorround sound. But because I also have to work and be away from my tv set, I will also select my cellphone. It is the second gadget that I cannot live without. My phone has a lot of uses. Aside from texting and calling my friends and loved ones. It can also surf the net. So I don't need to have a pc anymore. My mobile phone is all in one.

I think I would have to choose a cellphone. It has been the most useful invention to date for me. Like what you have mentioned, it is easier to communicate with people regarding emergencies or something. It is helpful in staying in touch with your loved ones.

Since i do most of my work online, my answer would be the computer. I really cannot spend a day without turning my computer on. Basically spending most of the day in front of it so if i do not have a computer, i may go bonkers.

Without my computer and the internet there would be a huge gap in my life. I just dont know how I survived before the internet was invented. If my ISP is down for any length of time then I begin to suffer from very serious withdrawal symptoms so maybe I am addicted and should try to live without it for a week but not this week maybe next week!
