The Karnataka State Cricket Association has come up with the idea of having its own T-20 format just like the IPL.A total of eight teams will play each other once & the top four teams will go through to the semis. I dont think this KPL will generate the revenue the IPL generates & the viewership will not match what IPL has. My question now is will the bidders make money by investing so much to its players & to bid a team?Is it a worthwhile gamble to put money into KPL?

That seems to be an interesting one indeed. Although you cannot compare the proposed KPL with that of IPL but still it could give a good chance for many young and aspiring cricketers who are desperate and ambitious enough to break into the national site and this would of a great help to them. Although it may not be a revenue generating one, but still it could be of a great help to many young players and I wish every state cricket organisation board set up premeier leagues of this kind. Have a great day ahead and Happy Mylotting. Cheers.

Yes as you said it would be of a great help to the upcoming & aspiring cricketers. It would be a good move from other State boards to hit upon this idea. But I think they will watch what happens to KPL & then start their own leagues.
