Do you wear a watch?

I've never been much of a watch wearer or jewelry wearer for that matter. It just doesn't feel comfortable. Nowadays I use my cell phone as a watch to see what time it is. On a special occassion I may wear an old wind up Bulova that my mom had given me before. I am sure if I were to wear them all of the time I would get used to it, but I guess I just don't want to. So, do you wear a watch?

Not really a watch person. I know no matter how much I do everything to take care of the watch, it will always end up in a not-good-shape because I'm accident prone.

A wrist watch for me is a must.If I forget to wear it because I am in a hurry, when I do realize that I forgot, I start missing it.Its like an extension of me. I have always worn a wrist watch since I was a teen and I just need it. Also, I don't always carry my cellphone around, so its good to have my watch with me.

I always carry mine with me because of any calls from my children's school or from my husband or family that may be important. Of course I don't use it much only as a time keeper. =)

I have to wear a watch for work. I really need to get one for outside of work, you know one that is more for looks than function.

Yes, I'm so used to wearing a watch that I feel uncomfy without it. But I only wear it when I'm not at home though. When I get home, it's one of the first things that I take off. It's somehow uncomfy when I wear it at home.. hmmm.. Am I making sense?

I wear one. It is my only accessory. I do not carry my cellphone all the time so I must have a watch with me. If I do not wear it, you will see a white line on my wrist (like a tan line).

Your post brought a smile to my face. My husband works outdoors for the phone company though he is currently deployed with the guard. When he would come home he'd take off his watch and there would be a tan line. Makes me think of him now in reading your post.

I have gone through phases of wearing a watch, but mostly i don't. I suppose i really got out of the habit of wearing one when i worked in the seafood department of a grocery store for three years. I was constantly washing my hands, and doing dishes and cleaning things, and it just seemed to get in the way. I just never got back into the habit of wearing one. Now i always have my cell phone in my pocket, so if i need to know what time it is, i can just pull it out and look.

Thanks for the comment. My husband hates certain watches more than others because they pull at his hairs as well. But he'll still wear them on occassion and try to stick to the plastic or leather band kind of watches.

I wear a watch all the time. In fact, I feel naked if I don't have it on. I don't even take it off in the shower. Maybe I am crazy, but it is the way I am. I guess you might say that I am obsessed with time. Before I got this watch, I had been without one for quite a while after the band on my old one broke. I was really lost as I didn't have a clock at the house and had no way to know what time it was until I did get one. I usually just go for the cheapest one I can find so long as I have something there. I don't use any other kind of jewelry, but I do need the watch. Thanks for bringing this up.

I remember when I was younger I would shower with it on so I wouldn't forget to put it on. This of course was before cell phones came about. So no I don't think you are weird or strange.

I do not wear a watch now, but I used to. I wore a watch the whole 12 years I was in school. From the first to the twelfth I wore a watch. And for many years I wore a wathn until one day I guess my watch quit or the watchband broke and I never wore one again. If I wore a watch now it would be a bother to me.

Hey there! I've been wearing a watch since I was a kid. I always wear a watch because it has become a part of my wardrobe. When I don't wear a watch, I always feel like I'm missing something.

I have not worn a watch for several years now and I think I would be uncomforatble if I were to start again. I usually carry my cell phone with me and my brain has been retrained to think when I need to know the time, I have to get it from the phone. Whenver I ask people the time, I barely ever see anyone turn their wrist over to look at their wtahc but they will pull out that phone in heartbeat. I don't think some of the young people know anything at all about wearing watches. There are still the die hards, like my dad nad husband who have to wear their watches and they never think to check the time from their cell phones. I guess to each his own.

I like to wear a watch but only when I go out, I like to keep an eye on what time so I have the idea of what time I should go home. And watching is like one of the accessories besides ear ring, necklace etc.

I wear a watch. I think it's very convenient for me to know the time. Although I have a cellphone, I feel it's not convenient.

When I was at school and then at college I used to wear a watch .I was never without it .But when I became a house wife I used to wear it now and then that is when i went out .But once my kids were born I just never wore a watch. There are people who wear watch constantly -day and even sometimes at night also. They can never pass a day without a watch tied on their wrist .I am now 54 and now once again I have started to wear it when I go out .But I dont wear a watch while at home.

I have not been wearing a watch since I have my cell phone and that is my watch and alarm clock as well. I used to wear a watch all the time, it is an important item to have if one does not have anyother means to know the time.

Personally, I don't like jewelry including flashy watches because for me, they are quite expensive. If ever I wear a wristwatch, it is made of fancy materials like plastic. However, my uncle gave me a present and guess what was it? A silver watch. Of all things. LOL That is when I changed my personal views on wearing silver jewelry. And I liked my watch because it was given to me as a gift.

Yes I do wear a watch. I got this habit from my student days. Even though you have a mobile in which you can see the time but still this is better.

I have to wear a watch, or else I find I am just naked. I will buy a watch for myself every birthday, in order to reward my whole year effort. I don't really have my mobile with me all the time, as I will leave it in my bag, and it will be very troublesome for me to dig out the phone just to know the time..
