I probably should have put this discussion in the "politcal" site, but it too has something to do with life. I don't mean to offend anyone by posting this, but just wanted to give everyone a differnt view to think about. I just read an article from someone who attended the National Right to Life Convention in Kansas City, who heard a speaker, who happened to be a doctor. At the convention, he brought with him, an ultra sound film of an actual abortion... The pictures were enlarged so the public could see the images more clearly, and it was the first time an actual abortion was ever shown from the victim's point of view. Before displaying the images, he reminded them that the 10-week old child represented 95% of all unborn children being aborted after conception. As the images rolled by the doctor noted that the that the little girl was very active. They could see her playing and turning around and sucking her thumb. They could see her heart beating at a normal rate of 120. But when the first instrument touched the uterine wall, the baby immediately recoiled and her heart rate elevated; the baby had not yet been touched with any instruments, but it seemed she knew something was invading her secure space. Those that watched, watchedin horror as this child was literally drawn and quartered...first the spine, then a leg, piece by piece, as the child writied in agony, thrasing around and trying to escape the instrument. At one poing her heart rate was over 200. Finally, they witnessed the outline of the forceps fishing around to find the head to crush and remove because it was too large to pass thru the suction tubing. The killing took 12 to 15 minutes. The abortionist filmed the ultrasound mainly of curisity. When he saw the film , he left the clinic and didn't return. The only difference between the unborn child and the one you may hold in your arms, is the unborn child hasn't yet had a birthday. I'm sure my rating will go down after posting this.

God! I just don't know what to say, I feel that I am short of words. Here in my country it is rampant to kill the baby girl child right in the womb. I think there are lesser incidents now atleast. It is so selfish and disgusting to kill the child because of a stupid act you had done out of your own emotions which swept over you when you were high with lust. I think most abortions occur due to this sort of stupidity. I am so sorry to learn this information you shared, I truly wasn't aware of the factual details. Thanks for sharing. A sensitive discussion like this cannot put your ratings down, its a very vital info that you are sharing.

It is so true that those that have abortions don't want to know how it is done. One man got his girlfriend pregnant three times. Each time she had an abortion. I think this discussion is excellent because it details something important. Every baby should be able to be born and cared for.

I think you have done a great service by posting such a discussion, it (Mylot) is a very good platform to share, for everyone of us. After going through these details, I think any human heart (if there is any heart left) would think twice before abortion. I do understand that those who undergo abortions are in perpetual state of apprehension, and would maybe opt for adoption as their last resource. but still to me, abortion is WRONG. From the mylot members the information would be shared with their respective families and friends and so on... Together we can really cause a much needed change. Thanks both you guys.

Bodhisatya...Unfortunately, not many people know the factual details that go on during an abortion. People who have had them, don't want to know...and like wise for those who never had one, because it doesn't involve them. However, if more and more people knew these details, it is possible that things would change among the people. I am sorry that I made you feel bad...but sometimes we have to open up everyones' mind and share the truth so the innocent lives do not continue to be destroyed. Thank you for responding to this sensitive discussion.

I have always been horrified by abortion. I feel incredibly sorry for the innocent babies that are killed during an abortion. They are the lost people of the world. An abortion must be really painful for a baby as seen here by the heart rate of the poor little baby. The baby had been growing and developing for ten weeks then she was ripped to pieces. The head was crushed so that must be a sick action for someone to do. The abortionist was wise never to do another abortion after seeing the reality of it. I am pro-life. I wouldn't ever have an abortion.

I think if more people saw the graphics of it, more people would change their side on this grave issue. Thanks

I wish that all people over the age of 18 could see that reality. If so I think that less abortions would take place. If that happened I would hope that adoption would become more popular. Then the innocent baby can live and get loving care from his or her adoptive parents.

Wow, I'm so speechless after reading this. II don't think I can watch it. I oppose to abortion because I believe every child has their own source of income. For me, child bring benefits to the parents. the child in the womb has a life already and already can detect danger, wow, that something amazing to see. Thank you for sharing this.

"it was the first time an actual abortion was ever shown from the victim's point of view" Does that mean that the anti-choicers are finally admitting that ultrasound in The Silent Scream and their interpretation of it was fraudulent? Anti-choice physician Paul Ranalli claims that fetuses don't have the anatomy required to feel pain until 20 weeks, and only "some" pain at 12-14 weeks. (gargaro.com/fetalpain.html)

Yes, it's amazing how a human being is different from a dog or cat.
