how many of you believe that movies are only meant to be watched on the big screen. I dont think so,many of you might not agree, but i think i am not a true film fanatic. as a matter of fact,i have only seen a movie in a theater once..till now. what about you???

movies must be seen only in theaters...nobody is gonna ask u to see all the movies which are releasing and which are running in the theaters...u can see a limited no of movies....even u can see a movie once in a month..there is no mistake in that..but u should do it in theater only.... i am telling to see movies in a legal way..not by buying the pirated dvd and spoiling the entire spirit of the film industry.. in my place the govt is trying their best to stop the piracy of movies... i can give an example.. suppose if u see the movie Madagascar escape to Africa in a theater and then u come home and rent a Dvd and see the film..u will find the difference... try to promote ur country's culture and economy.. happy to respond.. happy mylotting... this is my view of movies.. dont give negative response...

yes i can understand what you mean... but if you are not aware my friend...official dvd and blu ray releases also exist. its not that you have to rent a dvd....you can also buy the official dvd obviously after its release in the market. that isn't piracy.....face it my friend you talk about all this piracy and stuff. legal prices are not affordable by everyone(except theater).and you tell me, when there is plagiarism especial in our own bollywood....every thing is copied, from songs to scripts...tv soaps to reality shows...why should a common man put his hard earned money into an industry without any creativity.. sure there are some legit products or should i say movies in film industry but where you stand is for you to choose.

It's a 50/50 situation as certain movies are without a doubt much better on the big screen such as Titanic and Transformers, as they are big visual extravaganzas which benefit from the big atmosphere, but sadly lose too much when watched from the comfort of home. But then their are movies, such as The Lake House and Untraceable which do not have the impact needed to be impressive when shown on the big screen but then work better in the close confines of your own home. Personally I prefer to watch movies from the comfort of home and although I may miss out on the big atmosphere when I watch something such as Gladiator or Titanic I get to enjoy those intrinsic, small moments which are easily missed in a packed out movie hall.

I don't think so, because movies are too expensive that way. I usually just wait for them to come out on television.
