Has anyone heard about this Solar Eclipse darkened half the world?

What are your thoughts on it? I have read that the duration of the average solor eclipse is three and half minutes, on July 22,2009 record Blackout you can read more @ news.nationalgeographic.com/news/200/07/090722 For me I feel the end is near and all I know is I am ready for it, just sick and tired of this screwed up world, all I know I'd regret saying this is I want to never part from my baby girl. She is my heart and I pray she don't become like her older sisters man hungary and nothing else.
