What is your desktop or laptop background?

well i have set my desktop as a maruti suzuki sx4 wallpaper as i am fond of cars . usually i set photos of my family members as my desktop backround or sometimes i keep the desktop plain well it depends on my mood.

i dont know the name of this background i have in my laptop now, but it looks like an abstract in light blue color, i do like it because the blue seems to be so ok for my eyes. i dont change background that much since i will not be seeing them most of the time when im doing my online stuff.

My background for my desktop is of a beach in the Bahamas that I will be staying at this winter for a week in a cozy beach house, to look at it keeps me reminded that I will have a nice vacation later in the year to stay excited about it when it may seem so far away. It cheers me up to look at it. I can't wait until I am really there to experience the white sand, and crystal clear blue waters. Below is my background for all to see!

My laptop background is currently a collage of pictures of Gaspard Ulliel. Such a beautiful man he is!

I am not sure what the name of the background is. It is one that came with windows vista. It's a picure of the a beach and ocean with rocks at sunset. I do tend to change mine often with personal pictures.

My desktop background is always pictures of my grandchildren. About every 6 months they're all together at the house here, or we go visiting, and always get a good picture when they're together. I like it because the one daughter and family lives far away, and I don't get to see them too often. The one I'm just putting on now is from our visit a couple of weeks ago. The one grandson climbed up in a tree (about 3 feet up) and the other one (a 2 year old) was trying hard to do the same...cute picture! I like to keep current pictures up there because they grow so fast and it's fun seeing them in pictures every day lol. Once in a while I'll put something up that's seasonal, like at Easter, Christmas, etc.

Hey My Desktop background is Bliss too in Desktop.. I also don't like to keep very attractive Background. and in my laptop it's Photo of our God..

Mine is a picture I took in Northern wisconsin last fall.....with the trees all dressed in beautiful colors....it is even more special as I took the picture while spending time with my best friend!

My niece uses my computer so my Desktop is an Anime one. I really don't mind it and lately it hasn't been changed.

At present my desktop background is a picture which I took last year when we had a gorgeous snowfall. Usually I do like to have desktop backgrounds which are personal to me and so I usually have photos on there which I have taken myself or which have been taken by a family member. I usually change it once or twice a year in order to 'update' it more than anything else.

I don't have any background image either in my desktop or in my laptop as I happened to read in some article about the cases for slow down of computers. They have stated that if we have high resolution images or screen savers in our desktop , then this slow down the system performance to some extent.The screen savers plays much role than the images in this.Though the performance is not reduced to great level, I don't like to have them and mine is plain one with simple green color.

my desktop background changes every day. i downloaded a programme called magnetic by incredimail which once pinned to your start menu will change your wall paper to how ever you set it, magnetic sends some fantastic pictures as suggestions if you choose to accept it will be downloaded to your computer you can also use perssonal photos (if you choose) that are stored on your computer. i like to see something different every day

Before I used some wallpapers and pictures that I download from the internet. But since my baby girl came out, i used her picture as my laptop wallpaper, I really love seeing her. I used my baby's picture as my background so that when I am at work and I missed I just look at my wallpaper.

my roomie has a desktop slide show which changes ever minute or so - I, on the other hand, have this horse with a fawn that I just love the picture of. The only thing I changed on this new computer was to put that as my desktop.

You might have guessed it. My favorite color is green. You can see that in my bane , greenline. That's the color that makes me feel refreshed whenever I see it. So, the background on my desktop as well as laptop, I keep it green. I do change it some times, to different shades of green, but mostly on the light green side. I do not place any pictures there, just plain green.

I often change my computer background, there is no definitive reason. change if I have an interesting picture.

I do not use the background. I select "none" on the desktop menu. Because I rarely see the background.

The background on my computer is Wild Horses. I chose this mainly foe two reasons. I love horses and I live in the Az. desert. I haven't changed it and don't even think about doing so. If I could be an animal, a Wild Horse is what I would be. Theres a song by Natasha Bettingfield called Wild Horses, and I love it. She says; Wild Horses I want to be like you, throwing caution to the wind, i'll run free too. Wish I could recklessly love like i'm longing to. I want to run with the Wild Horses. Linda
