I wish I would earn a lot of money ,then I build a villa around mountain .I can do what I really like . No need worry about money . Just like Thoreau's life near the Walden .It seems to sound craze for you . I do like this life very much. How about you ? What is your ideal life ?

my ideal life would be to have money and house and be able to travel around the world. See every place I want to. Also, I would have a job as a writer. Furthermore, I would be a stay at home mom with a child or two. That's my ideal. I would really like a family.

Hmmm. Money can buy me a lot of things. I will buy the world and share it with my partner. Probably a palace in the hills and a stream nearby...Libraries filled with books, yummy food and no diseases...Ideal life. :)

Human life depend's on happiness and sadness of individual or their dependents. Both happy and sad are tagged with many factors like work, relationship, nature of thinking, kind of food, situation and many more. But as the discussion is on ideal life, i feel its means with happy or sadness equal to zero. But is this possible for a human, i don't think so! So, i say their no ideal life in our real life..

Perfection and idealism are a farce. True. But then who has stopped wishing for the perfect life because you cant have it!

Oh, I love Thoreau! And I can see why you'd want to do like him. I've had those thoughts myself, quite often. I'd love to live alone out in the nature, living only off the land. No government, no taxes, no neighbours. Just me and the freedom. That would be lovely. I think that people can't be truly happy living in "society". It's nothing but an invisible cage that they built themselves. What kind of animal would cage itself in, but humans?

It sound nice .But you may need a lot of money first .You cannot go far afield with enough money . Everything is different from one country to another . I also have this plan as yours . I wish I will go around the world soon .
