Yes it will be more and more expensive to buy a house in my country . The price for the house is higher and higher so that it's hard for people to buy it . What is the situation in your country ? Do this bother you much ?

It's the age old law of supply and demand. Which means if there are lots of people in a certain area that need houses, they can jack the prices way up high. But when people stop buying them, guess what, they have to lower the prices in order to try to sell. So this tell me that people need to start getting smarter than the Realtors.

Yeah in small city and in the village the price would be lower . But the earning is low too so it's really hard for people everywhere to buy houses.

It is so expensive to buy a house or a apartment in my country. For example, in Qingdao, most people only earn 2000 to 4000 RMB there. But the price of house is above 8000. Only rich people can afford new house. I am curious people in which country has the same problem as I so I looked at your profile and find you are a Chinese as well... So I think I need not to talk too much. You know, the house price in China is so high...

Wow it sounds very unreasonable now about the house price . Here it's better and the house price is about RMB 3000 but still it's hard for people to earn RMB 3000 a month .

Yes, 3000 one month and 3000 per square meter can be afford. Hope the price can decline one day.

The price of real estate in our area has gone down about 15 percent over the last 2 years. The only reason that this would bother me is if I wanted to sell my house, because I wouldn't get as much out of it. But since I don't want to sell it, and I am not currently looking for another property, it doesn't really effect me. In the big cities, like Chicago and New York, it seems you can't get much of a house at all for the same price that you can get a mansion in our area. I guess the income levels must be significantly higher in order for their prices to be so high. I wouldn't mind living in one of those cities, but I guess I would have had to of made my move there at a much younger age in order to be able to survive the ratios there.

In my views just keep your house to wait until the price becomes more reasonable.

In my area of the US, yes it is expensive. Even in the suburbs, for a 3+ bedroom house, prices START at 600,000 and up. In the city it is even more expensive, probably over $1 million just to break into the market. Crazy.
