yes, I always have a nap after lunch, which makes me feels more effective in my work. I once heard people said 10 or 15 mins nap after lunch is much better than one or two hours sleep at night. So, I do wish you can keep the good habit and then you will benefit from it.

Yes, I don't know why, I feeling sleepy after taking emals, no matter how much I took, sometimes only little can make me feel very sleepy. I don;t like it and somehow I also find it it kind make me lazy too. But if I don't eat, I will feel very hungry. Happy Mylotting

Based on studies, we feel sleepy after a meal because we consume sugar and sugar makes us sleepy. So to avoid this we should avoid sugary foods if we don't like to feel sleepy. But every after lunch in the office, I usually take a nap. But of course I usually set my alarm so that something will remind me to go back to work. Happy MyLotting!

Hi phillip.I detest sleeping in the afternoon hours after lunch. When,I was in the hostel,I tried that no one around me was able to take a nap in the afternoon.I know,it was mean, but I just can't help it.When I was a kid,my parents, tried and forced me to have the afternoon sleep, and I always ran out of the house to play in the afternoon.Yes,I was not spared and was given two mild whacks on my head, when I returned.I believe, the naps after meals, make a person obese. So,it should be avoided.Happy Mylotting.

its actually a bad idea to take naps after eating meals. sleeping slows everything in your body down for the job and can cause your metabolism to do the same. When that happens then your body will start storing the calories and fat instead of burning them off properly. When that happens you gain weight...unless you have the super human metabolism that Ive seen a few with that can eat whatever and as much as they want and never gain a pound. Then your fine. After i eat i keep moving as much as possible so i burn off the calories i just ate.

Yeah man, I am just habituated to that thing, I remember when I was in college, I used to go back to my home skipping lectures to have a afternoon nap. And this habit was so bad that when I started working, and one day my boss was explaining something and I was feeling sleepy. He told me to have a coffee, that time, that was really very embarrassing. But after that he would not tell me anything, I just put down my head and take a small nap of 5-10 minutes. Now also i am doing that thing, but now I got control of this, but of course on weekend, no one can stop me from having my lovely sleep, except my baby.

Before I heard about MyLot, I usually take a nap after my meals during our break time. But since I get into MyLot, I have forgotten to take a nap after meals. I became addicted with MyLot, cause I really enjoy what I am doing here.

Not really. I don't feel sleepy after eating, except on days like Thanksgiving or Christmas where we have big meals. Or sometimes at night if I have a warm glass of milk, which warms the stomach and makes you sleepy.

it is said so that sleeping in daytime adds on ur weight and also make u lazy..frankly speakin i sleep a lot after meals.not because meals makes me sleepy.its just that my schedule has gone out of proportion and i don ve a balanced sleep..after joining my lot it has hit the worst..i stay late nights n forced to get up early..so sleeping post meals has become inevitable... still my lot rockzz..
