I am FURIOUS at myLot!

I've gotten quite a few notifications of people that are missing email notifications and I've noticed that I don't get everything I should. Yesterday, one of my friends lost her cat and I WASN'T ABLE TO HELP COMFORT HER COS I DIDN'T GET THE NOTIFICATION OF HER DISCUSSION! This is ridiculous. This is a big site and probably has a big staff to take care of it. Email notifications have reportedly been sporadic for many people--this is how a lot of us work, as we don't have the time to cruise the site and we want to support our friends. They could at least send out an email explaining the problems and telling us the progress they're making in solving it. Or are they just too big to give a damn?

hey, just chill there dragon54u. am sure you can also send a complaint in mylot through the contact option. well, i really doubt mylot admin has a lot of that staff, but there are users here who are actually admins of mylot. you can tell it to them i think. stay calm.

Save your energy. It looks to me as if you've been here long enough to know how Mylot works. Notificiations are automated and if there's a glitch, then nothing goes out until it's fixed. There isn't somebody sitting there, sending out notices. If you really care that much about your friends, there's an easy way to keep up with them. It's the little "friends started" button under the row of interests icons near the top of every page. No need to to cruise the site, if you don't have time. Just push that button once or twice a day. If Mylot didn't give us a variety of ways to keep track of things, you'd have good reason to complain, but there's no reason to assume that there's a big staff that just doesn't give a damn. There's almost 180,000 members here, and there's not a site in the world that could hire enough staff to personally tend to our problems.
