True Blood - Bill or Eric - and why?

I have been enjoying watching the second season of True Blood. I have read all the books so far. The show has strayed a bit from the books, but I'm enjoying the differences, as it keeps me guessing. In the book and the show I have found Bill a bit boring and am hoping that the show will develop Eric the same way the books have. So I definitely like Eric's characther more than Bill's. What do all the other True Blood Fans think?

first of all true blood is the most entertaining show on television today! i really want to like bill, but i find eric much more interesting. i have also read all of the books and actually feel the turn of events in the series a step forward.

It definitely is! One of the few shows I really look forward to seeing every week. I agree, Eric is much more interesting, as you have seen in the books. I am enjoying the differences in the show. I really like Lafayette's character, which was killed off in the first book, and am enjoying Jessicas addition. Also, interesting what they have done with the Marianne character.

I like Bill, he is a reserved kind of hot vampire guy. Eric does have a cool edge to him thow. I guess I like them both, they need to be on the show to make it cool as they fight for sookies heart.

I like Bill's character better but Eric is much hotter. I tried reading the first book of the series AFTER I watched the first season of True Blood.
Anyways, I actually am I BIG fan of Sam...I'm SOOO looking forward to tonight's episode - please don't let anything happen to him!! LOL

I haven't read the books yet, but I really love the show. I really agree with you. Bill is a way boring character. He acts so old. I think it's weird because Eric is older than bill, but he seems more with the times and way sexier. 
I really hope that Sookie dumps Bill soon and gets with Eric already. I think that they will make a great couple.

Definitely would like to see Sookie and Eric together also!!! Hopefully they will keep sticking to some of the storylines in the books! I recommend reading the series. They are really great, and filled with tons of humor. It's interesting to see the differences and similarities between the show and the books.

I hated Eric at first but I have really warmed up to him. He is way better looking, and may seem like a hard a** but has shown quite a few times now his soft spot. I read a couple of the books but enjoy the series much better.

I love Eric Northman. Sure, True Blood and the book has differences but I super love Eric. 
He's my type of guy. I just love his attitude/character.
