No Sgt. Pepper on I-Tunes

Well, that's not entirely true, but the one's I'm looking for aren't there.
Earlier today we had the TV on and the movie "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" was on. I was singing all the songs and just lovin' it! So I decided to go to I-tunes and download the music - both The Beatles and Bee Gees. Well, neither of them are there. I was so looking forward to listening to that while I was walking every morning. I guess I'll have to buy the cd's and upload them myself. Or I can do like my boss does and borrow them from the library!

there's been big problems with The Beatles (well the people now in charge of the music/legacy) not letting Itunes sell their music - because of the whole issue arround Apple versus Apple Records. They've been supposed to be sorting it out but nothings happed yet - latest rumour is that they're finally going to announce a deal on the same day as the remasters and the rockband game.

As for the Sgt Pepper film soundtrack, I'm not sure if this would affect those songs not being on itune or not or if it's because of the record label/musicans not allowing it but it finally got rereleased on cd a few years ago now and it's on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Sgt-Peppers-Lonely-Hearts-Club/dp/B0000067L8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1251394966&sr=8-3

Yeah, I know there's a lot that i-tunes doesn't have for copywright reasons or whatever... I was really hoping to get it the easy way, but now I'll have to buy the cd's and put them into my itunes library manually.

I have the Beatles Live at the BBC, it's pretty cool. I was really looking forward to Sgt Peppers though. Still haven't had a chance to find it.
