What is the maximum number of responses you got on your discussion?

I really wonder how these responses based on people's mind.. till now..
Because, sometimes I expect a lot for a particul discussion but get 4-5 responses. But for some I never thought someone will respond will hit the most high..
I got 22 reponses as the highest till now from the week I've joined. What is the most number of responses you got for your discussion and why?

Hi, Phillip! The highest was thirty three and the lowest I got is one,not bad. Maybe the topic I brought was not that catchy but, i don't easily disappointed with the result because I know one day I can be as good as others. Happy posting!=p

No. I only got 24 response to that. I'm referring to my other discussion , "are you smarter than your girlfriend/boyfriend" thing.=p I'm still hoping to get higher responses than that, just like the others.

When I started mylotting I usually got some 4 to 5 answers too then gradually with time and with interesting subjects I get more than 15 and sometimes I have also discusiions with more than 35 answers so it is just a matter of posting interesting things in mylot.

Hi Phillip! The most number of responses I got in one discussion is currently 131. It is entitled "Do you use your cellphone as calculator?". I never expected to get that huge number of responses, I just feel lucky though. I think the reason for getting many responses to your discussion is the generality of your topic. Your topic should be easy to respond and it should be a general topic. What I mean in general topic is a topic where anyone can relate with it. Like my topic which got 131 responses, it is about a cellphone and a calculator. Who doesn't know and who doesn't use cellphone and calculator? Everyone does. So that's why it gets many responses. Another thing that will help you to get many responses is you should have a lot of friends. Because if you do, the possibility to get more viewers will become higher, so it will cause you to have many responses. So keep on adding friends. That's what I can share. Happy myLotting!

I believe that if I can take my mind back and remember, I made a discussion that reached around 37 responses. I knew it was an interesting discussion that I started up, but I never thought I'd get THAT much responses. I guess that kind of topic really touches people. It was about people doing a charity scam. The more responses you get on your discussion the more money that you are earning.

I am new to mylot . till now i have got 8-9 responses to my discussion. It is very unpredictive as some discussion doesn,t get a single response while other get many responses.

Hi pal you have really asked a question that matters a lot to all fellow mylotters.I personally feel it is not the quantity of response but actually the quality and simplicity of discussion and its response .
i believe here at mylot also 'small is big,and 'asking simple questions is a tough job.I feel you are doing it in a good way.

I got the most responses at 25 when the news and memorial of michael jackson hit. I've also got 12 s my next highest. All the others are low. But expected because its not news.

So, far the highest number of responses that I got was 12. It concerns a TV personality. Yes, you are right. There were times that I would expect a lot of responses but only got a few of them. I guess that is just ok as long there is someone who got to read the discussion that I made.

I have a maximun of 59 responser on my discussion way back. IT is a good feeling that many are willing to make your discussion a quality discussion. And as I remember I had shared my problem here that time, many are concerned. To be exact 59 person or members are concerned!

I don't count but I know sometimes I do get few pages of responses especially when it hit the digest. As an old timer here, I have few regulars who come to my discussions and am happy that they are always there when ever I post new discussions. The outcome of our discussions is very unpredictable. Sometimes the discussion seems hard to draw in responses but other times a discussion can be explosive with responses hitting the roof. I am quite puzzle to what kind of topic feeds the majority members here that can magnetize them. Still thinking.

As far as I remember the maximum responses that I received for a discussion was about 150. It was a discussion about how honest people are on mylot. The least number of responses for a discussion was about 8 for a couple of discussions. Or else the average is from 30 to about 80.

If I'm not mistaken, the most responses I got was 38, for High School: Worst or Best Moments in your LIfe and what does your username means, I think it got many responses because it relates to other people without thinking too much. I think you must also have a catchy topic subject which will catch myLotters eye right when they opening myLot

The maximum response for a discussion of my was 11 responses.
Some of my discussion brought 4-5 response and I have some that have brought no responses.

My highest I believe in about 18 responses. One of my buddies on my friends list almost have 100 responses. I think his username is markmoney. He is really good in getting the community to respond to his discussions. That is awesome. I wish there were ways to develop that relationship with strangers. But I think markmoney just might have a natural talent for these online stuff.
I always see his discussions about 25+ everytime. It just seems like his minimum which is awesome. I always respond to my friends discussions. That is why I always post either + or - so that I know i've contributed for my friends. Just a good way to note it.
Also I'm not as talented as him when developing good questions to ask.
I nominate markmoney as a superstar here in myLot or at least a famous figure here.
I elect markmoney as a vice admin =P

I can hear sweet compliments here. You are a sweet talker doggyhouz. I really appreciate all good things you have said in me. Actually I already told my secrets to Phillip. That are the ones he indicated in his comment to you. To generalize topic and to add more friends. You have to build a big community around you, by adding friends. I can see in your profile that you only got about 30 friends. So you really needed to enlarge your community. If you will do that, you will see the difference in your discussions, you will begin to receive more responses than before. I have proven it based on my experience. And having many friends is really a good combination for being a discussion starter. I am more of a starter than a responder so having many friends really counts.
