I am working really hard to earn money. I am also trying to be very active in my online activities to get more extra cash.I really need the money to pay for my credit card debts. I am working hard, and what do i get? I was humiliated and shouted at by an arrogant, rude and bersek collections agents. Why can't this people be civil. I am willing to coordinate with them. But how could and why would I entertain their calls if they would just end up shouting at me because I was asking details of my account. He was even rude to our office phone operator. I got a memo because of that incident. I muight end up losing my job if they continue doing that. Please read the whole story on my blog.. not a referral link.. www.everyday-joie.blogspot.com

Let's just pray for them. Don't think about them too much because people like them is not worth your time. The more you think of them, the more you'll get irritated. So be cool ok? smile! Ü

how could i possible be cool if i am receiving calls 4-8 times a day at work. I have work. Spending a lot of time on the phone would reflect badly on my status at work. I might even lose my job if these people continues to harrass everyone on the office.

That's going to be a big problem when your employer would know it. Why not contact the higher authority of the collector and report everything about the way their collector handle your account...I think that's one of the best move for you to do...Good luck

I have already reported it to the higher authorities once and I really though that the problem is resolved. I was wrnog, I was harrased again. I have already reported it again to the same office but I guess they lack the willingness to help or to resolve the problem. It really feels bad and humiliating to be treated that way.

Hi Joie, you should have not given your office phone number because that is personal that is why they give you a memo. Now about the rude collector agent, it is their job to scare people, because they will get a cut once you pay the amount. So my advice to you is this, tell that collector agent that you are going to settle your account straight from the bank, and tell them not to call anymore. They are just middle men so they are working also for that same bank only run by a private company. Anyway don't be afraid because nobody got jailed because of late payments. There is no such R.A. (Republic Act) order to sue you if you are just delayed. Since that is between you and the bank to settle anyway. Hope you learned your lesson not to give office number when it comes to personal matters.

They got my office number when i applied for the credit card years ago.. I know no one gets jailed for debts , but still i want to settle the debt. All I want is some respect from this callers. If I would lose my job because of their harrasments, I won't have money to pay them anymore. It seems that they do not understand that.

This is sad. But i think this is just how their job operates. Just remember:"Don't give up". Good luck. Hope your next post would be how you manage to solve the matter.

Hi...oh my can I relate to you. I have an account too and the collector was very rude screaming at me over the phone. They were calling my cell every single day and it was a recording. I called to let them know when I was going to make the payments and they did not want to cooperate. I was forced to change my cell number. And guess what they did??? They contacted my neighbor across the street. I've been at this address for over 3 years and never did I have any contact with these neighbors except for waiving "hello". That was so embarrassing to me. Again, I am sorry you have to go thru this nonsense at work. Good Luck to you and hope things go in your favor.

I hope that something gets resolved soon and perhaps you could speak to the telephone operator at work who could just say that you don't work there anymore and give them your alternate contact number? Also, if they come to your house, you don't have to let them in unless they have a warrant to seize goods. If they ask to come to talk about things or to use your phone, don't let them as once they've come in once they are allowed to just continue coming back.
