im sorry to ask this child like questions but then again, base on your understanding and explanation without using your search engine... no right or wrong answer here.. just share us your idea.. lets see where it takes us.. Heres mine... Zebras used to be black before, but zebras stood up right next to the newly white painted fence.. and the rest was history lol... poor me...

Zebras, as nearly anyone knows, have stripes for camouflage (sorry for bad spelling :P). They are dinner for many animals, and stripes help them hide

when zebras are in the herd, the striping confuses the predators... the only other wild horses are dun colored, living in a barren landscape and they do have stripes on their legs not unlike a zebra - just not as strongly marked

The main reason for Zebra having stribes is simply protection from predators in the wild, when Zebras stand in the group they look larger than they are, and it is harder to define each animal between each other, so the attackers also have a harder chance spooting the weak animals out from the group. Another thing worth mentioning is that Zebra stribes are exactly like human finger prints, none are alike, amazing you shouldnt even believe it since they all more or less look the same with the same stribes.

Hi homeshoppers, Because they are all an avid fan of Newcastle football club or Javentus. To display their loyalties, they painted their body with this club color. Or maybe because they love to listen "black and white" song sung by Micheal Jackson. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

Haha, don't you know that stripes are the latest fashion trend? Zebras just want to fit in. Actually, their black with white stripes to blend in with each other so that lions can't tell one zebra apart from another, which is helpful because lions single a zebra out to try and eat him.

Hi there I think zebras have stripe because that is what really protect them against predators .and their kids also for the scorching heat. The stripes act as a cooling mechanism.
