so does this phemomenon really exist. i am all about medical mysteries and this is one that i have always been curiously fascinated with. how is it possile, does it really exist and those that have explained it, how do they know what chain of events transpired before someone just burst into flames. or is this one of those myths that seem to be true because so much has been said about it in the past with seemingly logical scientific backup?

Im not sure... This facinates me aswell! It must be horrific to witness or experience. To just be here one second, then on fire, then gone. Or to be walking along with someone who just suddenly goes up in flames. My personal view is that it is very much real, but just highly unlikely to happen. It is extremly rare, and probably does happen because of a trigger (so it is not totally spontanious!) But i have no medical research or personal experiences to base this on! If you find out anything i would be interested to know though!

ha ha okay i shall continue the quest for the knowledge, i mean it would be nice to know if it is genetic or something or a combination of environmental and dietary factor. keep me posted too if you find out anything. i wonder also how fast it really happens, i know that in order for a human to burn completely and turn to ash takes many hours and a very high temperature.
