If you were married to a superstar, could you handle all the attention they got, and the lack of your privacy. Would fame and fortune be more important be paramount to you and your lifestyle? Think about all the proe and cons, and pass on your views. Thanks for all your opinions.

we learn my experience, so I would say...I will tell you after I know for sure...I may like it or I may hate it...it all depends on how much popularity we are talking about...I can handle middle attention, I am very private person, too much will make me crazy....

Hi pola, would I be right in saying, you're not really sure, but you might like to try?

first, i think that's impossible for me. if there is such a chance. i feel i wont like it. cause the fame and money are not the most important to me. i prefer to pursue the inner value, ...i dont know how to describe it clearly, but only i feel so. but i still hope i wont be lack of money to live, is that contradictory?

Welcome yolanda, not many of us get the chance to go out with a superstar, let alone marry one. I however, couldn't stand living in the spotlight of stardom. Simple life for me. Thank you for your response.

Well…I wouldn’t mind an ‘encounter’ with say, Brad Pitt, perhaps, no need for commitment!! (LOL) Seriously, I would have to love that person, a lot! What I would not handle well is the tabloid gossip. I would feel terribly hurt to have my ‘no make up’ photos made public or pictures of the cellulite of my derriere! No, it would be an awful life and not worth the money and prestige. One would need to feel very secure in the relationship because there would be a lot of women approaching him. Nope, not for me.

Hi paula, I think you summed the whole situation up in your first sentence. You woulsn't mind an 'encounter' with Brad Pitt, well there are millions of ladies around the world, who would slot into the same category, and this would be on your mind the whole time you were married to a superstar. I agree, nope, not for me either.

No, i would not. I don't like to be in center of attention and I don't like people to see and judge what I do. I can take criticism but to able walk and people keep looking weirdly at you, I don't. It's very challenging and hard, so I pass.

Hi ucue, yes, same as me. I would hate to have all my movements made public, my wife is critical enough, without the world being judgemental.

NO WAY! It just to much too deal with. Between not having any type of privacy and dealing with groupe its just to much drama. I wouldn't want to have this problem in my life. I want just peace and privacy with out paparazzi.

you may call me possessive. but i prefer to have my husband to myself, i mean away from those "gaga" girls. i want a low profile kind of a life where i and my husband can go anywhere without screaming fans and flashes of camera bulbs all the time. i say no to stardom. i prefer the simple life for me and my family. ann

I believe in sharing most things, but a spouse is not among them, and if your spouse were a superstar, you would hve to think - sharing. Thanks ann for your response.

I'm sure it got it's up and downs. The money and vacations and all the house and cars wouldn't be all that bad but having people chasing you all over the world to take your picture and camp out in front of your house for an autograph would drive me insane.

Hi missybear, so do you think you could handle the paparazzi chassing you and your partner. I know I wouldn't like it, and would rather just lead a normal life. Thanks for your response.

It would be great! I theory.... But for me i dont think i would like loads of women chasing after him. I think i would need his constant attention to make me feel safe like he wasnt going to run off with a fan or something. I know that sounds really needy but... i would just need to know that he was serious about our relationship. It would depend what he was famous for aswell! If he was an actor for instance i would HATE to watch a movie with him kissing another girl! I know it would just be acting in reality, but in the finished film it would look realistic! The attention from the public about our personal lives.... i think would get to me eventually. At first, it would be like a bit of a novelty. But people (particualy journalists) tend to go too far. If we had an argument say, and then the next morning it was all over the papers. I would be so angry at that. I would, for the sake of love, try to cope with these things though. If i was serious about the relationship. I wouldnt marry them "Just because they are famous", i know thats easy to say and harder to do lol. I would only want to be with them if i loved them though! It might be possible to have a some what secret life. Make sure we kept things private. I could cope with that! So for me it would depend on 1) Their career 2) What sort of attention it was 3) Both our levels of commitment to each other

Thank you for such a detailet and responsible response. There is a lot of merit in what you say, I especially like the part about seeing your partner kissing another person on screen. Even though it is just acting, how many actors have started relationships with their co-stars. Imagine if your children saw that, I wonder how they wound react.
