Hi friends,After responding to numerous discussion in all categories ,I felt that there are a really no bounce back responses ,not even one in the beginning. Thats very bad as what is the point of starting a discussion and not never checking it . Do you check back the discussion started by you ? Share.

This is a good reason to stick to your friends list.It makes me angry that people start conversations ,to never return a answer.I have had some very nice conversations with people here because ,I do check back on all things questions and answers. Why bother if your not gonna respond ,not to mention it hurts us the respondents. What I try to do when going back and seeing this sort of thing is talk to others who have taken the time to respond. Why should we all loose over one persons ignorance.

Never bite off more than you can chew. Just like diving into a swimming pool without water. No excuse is good enough,if you don't know how to be a sport, stop playing with those that do. Just my 2 cents !

It was not confusing at all ! Its easy to see who they are also ,because of what you said .A lot of us know to check the numbers before responding to newbies.Even if I was to go off line for vacation or whatever ,I would try to finish all unresolved business out of fairness to the people who do talk back.

You have a really good point. That person can make heaps of discussions if tey want to but if that person doesn't comment back on my response, what's the chance that I'm even going to respond to any more of there discussions? This way they will be loosing more and more responses, as people won't reply to them because they didn't reply to the discussion of there responses. Sorry if that sounded confusing.

I agree with you. Most people that do that just make a whole lot of discussions, and they don't even check the discussions, they only look at how much responses they have. This is only because they want money, not because they care abut people's opinion. I admit I have been guilty of not being able to reply to everyone, but I really truly do try my very best.

No, you are absolutely right! However people don't know that any think it's just an easier way to make heaps of money. They just make heaps of discussions hoping to get lots of responses and being able to make money, but they don't know they will actually receive more money if they reply to the responses they get. I just can't believe people are so greedy these days over money.

It they really looking for money, then leave the responses without comment on it is the last thing they should do. You only earn from you first response for your discussion. By giving the comment for the rest will top up your earning from that discussion. Correct me if I am wrong.

This kind of person will make a noise later. They will spread rumor that myLot didn't pay them. But they never bother to read the guidelines. It is clearly stated that you earn from your work and not others.

yes, i do. it is one way of really connecting with those who responded. and it is, i think, the idea of mylot to have a lively and series of interaction through discussions. besides, it is nice to see how people responded to the discussions. in some of the brilliant responses, i learned from those while some are not so interesting. nonetheless, i simply expressed my appreciation of their responses.

That is really sad. I will never just create a discussion and leave it just like that. I will go back to the discussions and write comments to almsot all the responses I get. Some responses will be repetitions then I don't comment on it. I think we should comment back on the responses atleast saying thanks for the person who responded to your discussion.

I am a very new user in MyLot and you are right very few times we actually receive bounce back responses on our responses. May be most of them just post some topic to discuss and they never bother to follow it up. I mean it is worthless doing it. You are not gaining anything from the views of the people. I think we have to regularly follow up the discussions that we start. This is the way we should work in MyLot.

Hi Saro, yes, I always check each discussion I begin for responses, to which I always reply. I also check back on my responses to discussions started by other to see if there are counter-replies to mine there. It is not only polite, but a good way to learn and keep some of the discussions flowing. Karen

Hi, sarojInc! If I create a discussion, I will definitely go back, check all the responses and give feedback as well to show that I appreciate their effort to comment. Sometimes, I noticed that some users will create too many discussions at a time, and only respond to two or three comments and the rest were left unanswered. I don't know whether they are interested to read and respond or will get back to the discussion sometime later or have no time to reply, but they only have time to start a discussion. There is no point, right?! But still it happens...

Of course I do. In fact, I am excited to read about responses to the discussion threads I have started just so I can get other's opinion about a given topic that I have raised.

Hello, I always make it a point to go back to my discussions and check for new responses and comments. In fact I do that even for those discussions that I have replied to,not just the ones I started. It is very important to do this as there may be new comments and responses, and your views may be necessary to let the discussion grow.If we do not check back and users keep responding and find the person who started it is not interested, then gradually no one will respond to our topics. We are here to share and widen our knowledge through interaction so I always take an active part in the forum.I keep checking my profile activity from time to time for bounce back responses that I may find interesting to comment on.

I do but as you said you end up having too many and less time to check them all. My discussion though aren't really that appealling and so they have less responses this is another reason why I don't check them often but I always try to check the discussions I answered.. and I'm amazed that i have that many, it's a little frustrating that there are some really old discussions I want to chek but they are really buried under the recent ones and I don't have enough time to look for them. I once stayed up late trying to find an old topic to see what was the theme and the responses there, luck was at my side that time lol. Nowadays I lose my mood to look at all my responses because o the huge numbers. An update would be good to help us find our old discussion and responses, I personally would love to be able to read my old responses.

I used to check them , if the discussions has received any response recently. I will follow the link in the notification email and I will comment to the latest response. Very rarely I will check the discussions started tab for the new comments of some important discussions as we are not receiving notifications for all of the comments. Once in a month , I will choose some discussions and read them and mark the best response in addition to the commenting to the responses, if they were not yet commented.

Something i have too noticed and dont really understand, there isnt really a point in creating 101 discussions and then not returning to check them or comment on them, you need traffic boths ways for it to be a discussion. I think its rather rude too since people have takentheir time to reply to your discussion and then you dont even bother with it.
