Ettiquette when riding the jeepney

I was riding a jeepney this afternoon when two men alighted the jeepney. . . They're ordinary passengers. .. What makes them intriguing are their behavior while they're inside the jeepney. . . The other man had T-shirt on while smoking inside the jeepney and the other one was drunk and spitting on the floor of the jeepney. .. I wanted to scream at them for the discomfort they have been giving to the other passengers but I did not for fear that they might get angry and do some commotion. ..In the end, I just prayed that I will reach my destination soon so my ordeal will soon end too. .. . Do you have any experience being with this kind of persons while riding a public transport?

I would have been brave enough to confront the smoker, but not the drunk, lol. Usually with smokers, I'd explain about my really bad asthma (exaggerated, of course). The thing is once you speak up, other passengers might back you up. I wouldn't mess with a drunk person. I'd much rather get off and take a diff ride.

I sometimes do that to smokers depending on my mood and depending on the time .. I usually reprimand a smoker inside the jeepney during mornings when I am still fresh . ..

well i just hate these kind of passengers! they are very inconsiderate and i am scared of the drunk passengers! like you i am also afraid in telling them to stop on what they are doing coz sometimes they can also be rude and harmful...so i guess the best thing to do, if it is still early and many other jeepneys are still passing by, just move to other jeepney! for safety...
another thing that i think sometimes irritates me are those passengers who are talking so loud as if they are the only passengers on that jeepney! huh!

I encountered this scene many times. What I had been doing to avoid troubles and unpleasant situation, I just stop the jeep and disembark right away even if it's not yet my destination, I will have to right another jeep. It's pretty annoying having smokers inside the jeepney because of the smoke we might inhale.

I was thinking of disembarking the jeepney but it was very inconveniently for me to do that especially that I was carrying big and heavy bags at that time. . . Had I been carrying a handbag only, I surely would have disembarked from the jeepney ..
