Must Haves For Yourself

What do you do for yourself, even if the budget is tight perhaps, that you cannot do without? Any little quirks that you have to have to feel good about yourself, confidant, maybe a little superficial? Examples as such would be washing your car every week, always getting pedicures, cleaning your house vigorously every day. Just curious-I am intrigued by what makes people unique!

My hair is my weakness. I like to color my hair, and experiment with different hair styles, and this is one things i still do, even if finances are a little tight. It makes me feel so much better about myself. Granted, i don't go anywhere expensive for my hair cuts (there is a chain salon in my local walmart, and that tends to be where i frequent, and the haircuts are only about $12 each time, and only go about once ever 6 or 8 weeks) and i do my own hair color at home, usually touching it up or re-doing it in the same interval as getting my haircut. So all in all, about every 6 or 8 weeks i spend about 25 dollars on my hair..but i still see this as a baragain for the boost in self esteem it gives me knowing i am looking my best. (and if i were to go to one of the pricier salons, it could cost almost twice that just for the cut!)

A lot of people take great pride in their hair. I used to-not anymore though LOL. I used to go to the salon and get expensive highlights done, and although I loved it, it just became a hassle and far too expensive. Then I started dying my hair at home, but stopped that too about 2.5 years ago when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. I actually appreciated my natural hair color and appreciated even more the health of my hair! But now, sadly, I spend a lot of time in front of the mirror pulling out unwanted gray hair, that I may be forced back to dying. LOL

I go through pahses where i let my hair go back to its natural color and enjoy that as well, as it is actually a very pretty shade of blond (when it is my natural color, i often have friends and coworkers exclaim to me..why would you ever dye your hair if it is that color? i would love to have hair like that, or i spend tons of mony at the salon to acheiv what you have naturally) but i guess it is just a chance to play around and experiment with differnt looks for me. Something fun to do

I would love to carry a nice shade of blonde myself, but my eye brows are very dark and I am very fair skinned, so the light hair would probably wash me out way too much. The closest I got to being blonde was bleached highlights-which I loved, but it was running me around $70 bucks and for hair, that is waaaaay too high!

time on the computer - of course, I'm a single middle-aged lady so I've got no one much demanding time I don't want to share

I think many of us would agree that we need our computer time. Heck, Mylot in itself demands a lot of time from us!! I have spent nearly all day on here-and am eager to see the pay-off tomorrow. Not just on Mylot, but I love my computer time for Myspace, Facebook, and computer games offline as well.

Hey, Well I don't really have any must haves for myself except that I need food everyday, and Internet everyday. Other than that, I don't have anything that I must have or do. But my life is quite boring nonetheless. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
