Are You Addicted to Internet?

Recently I doscovered that I surf the net more than 4 or 5 hours everyday.
Earlier I used to surf net only for about an hour or so. If I dont get time to spend on Internet I feel very uncomfortable and get very irritated.
I believe I have got addicted to internet browsing. What about you? Has it happend to you?

i don't say i am addicted to internet, but i spend most of the time surfing the internet.addicted is a bit strong word,bcoz i can be without internet also, i can stop using it for a week its not a big deal.so i can say it has become my daily routine.

No,I just use my computer to do what I have to do.When sit on front of the screen for a long time,I feel really tired~~

2 hours a day, or 2 hours straight isn't too bad. I've been on more than that, and I'm a completely normal person.
Maybe his parents need to do something. Since it's affecting his school work, they should really get him professional help with his addiction, I mean if it's as terrible as you say it is, so he doesn't fail out of school.

It depends on my internet activities on that day. But averagely i can spend up to 5 hours in a day. But on weekend, usually i can spend up to 8 hours for internet. But that's all doesn't mean i spend the all time in a row. That's just the accumulation time in a day. As long as you have many things to do on the internet, i think it's fine to say that you are internet addicted. I believe that there's a lot poeple with same feeling with you. Perhaps i'm also included one of them. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I'm not sure I'm addicted, I don't get irritated when I can't get online, but I do feel as though I'm missing out on things. I go on the internet everyday to check my messages from friends, participate in websites like mylot, play games, and chat with friends and family, check news, weather, download music, watch videos. There is just so many great things to do on the internet that are far more entertaining and educational compared to sitting around bored or watching tv. I spend all my free time on the computer, but when it comes to things I need to do I always do those first, so I would say I'm not addicted, just in love with it. Haha

Well absolutely, even I have the same feelings for internet as you do.
I spend most of my spare time on sites like Mylot and try to make the most of it.
It is certainly more interesting than those television serials which I hate watching the most.

2 to 3 hours a day is certainly not addiction. That is the normal time any person could spend on internet. 2 - 3 hours fly by so fast when we are browsing the internet now-a-days

Yes I have been addicted to the Internet for a number of years, without me actually realizing it. Ever since we got Broadband, I have stayed on the computer about 9 hours every single day, so yea I am addicted to it now. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I don't think iam addicted to internet because i can still control myself to stop especially when i need to go to bed or do some other chores. My kids are addicted because i need to remind them to close it and stop for a while. If im not around they would stay all night.
