how can we stop children that are addicted to video games

now a days there are so many playful materials especially video games on a cafe that are very near in school. How can we stop our own children in so much playing some of that games. Can you tell me your opinion on how we can stop them. Thank you and happy mylotting.

Moderation is the key, allow them to play it for a certain amount of time each day or every few days. You could give them some little jobs to do and collect stars then at the end of the week they get X amount of time playing video games. If you make it so that it isnt readily available but still there they will enjoy it and appreciate it without becoming addicted

Also this is the next generation, when we were children things like this didnt really exist but everything is becoming "electronic" these days, children need to use these things to some extent to learn because eventually everything is going to become computerised and electronic. I wont be denying my daughter of thses things but she wont be using them all day everyday :)

It is all about rule of engagement. Involve the child in other extracurriculum activities like sports which will help in building them physically & mentality.
Parents should play active role in their children upbringing because most children addicted to this games do so because of the pleasure they derived from them . Therefore parents should create a pleasant parent-child relationship so their children can derived more joy from them.
Discipline ur child in love. Let them understand the good and negative influence of d game in their career pursuit.
Educate them on time management.

i think we can stop children that are addicted to video games.we can have a plan to command children to addicted to video games.

To stop ur children addicted video game, my opinion is :
1. Take and hide engine and cassettes video game.
2. Give your child more activities.
3. Hide your television
4. Turn off the electricty in your home
If step 1 - 4 you do, I believe your child not play and addicted video game
