Dear friends, Last Sunday I read an article 'Generally Mothers like the eldest girl and would like to live with her.' Generally mothers love all their children irrespective of the gender or age. But there are some preferences in showing love this is normal in everyone's home. But the above statement is something strange I have heard so far. Do you think Mothers like eldest girl more?? What do you think about this statement? Please share your views here...

Mother's are capable of killing their offspring, that is not love! See my story and get to know how women in my life have decided I need to have my existence extinguished! Want to find some trolls?

my eldest child is a girl.. and i luv her dearly, but not any different than my other 4 children.. but i could say that i am much closer to her because she sort of becomes my best friend as she grew up.. we share a lot of interests, and maybe because she is a girl, she's much more sensitive towards my feelings - sometimes even more than her father , she also helps me a lot with her younger brothers and sisters.. i can honestly say that even though i dont love my other children any less, but i do share a special bond with my eldest girl...

Hi, well i think it's the other way round. Although my parents took good care of me and my sister, and they still take. I think they are more close to my younger sister and she is still considered as their small child. Dad takes her everywhere with his car and other things that they didn't do for me.

Well, as you have said, I believe that mothers do love all their children equally. However, there may be some instances that they are in favor of someone more, she may be the eldest, the middle, or the youngest. It really depends. Based on most families I know, the mothers love most the child who is most respectful, obedient and listens to them. There are also cases that the mother likes most the one who needs her the most.

I am confused by this article...I think I need more information in order to comment. Are they saying that mothers like the eldest daughter more? Love the oldest daughter more? Would prefer to live with the eldest daughter upon aging? Different questions would encourage different responses. Please clarify the article and the question in order for an accurate response. Thank you
