A lady's handbag is a private thing? Do men really know about it?

Hi Dearones,
Do men have any idea about the stuffs of a woman's handbag. What do you people carry in your handbags?
Really I have seen some of my friends have makeup kits, some have medicines and some really don't have anything but simply a bag? 
What most of them carry in their handbags? Do they need them really?
Please share your thoughts.. I hope its not a private thing huh?

My man knows nothing about whats in my purse,I would think he was snooping if he looked. I carry the basic needs cigs,feminine needs,sanitizer,sun block and a comb since we open the jeep up a lot when going to friends or mudding.I guess I carry the bare essentials that are needed for me.I only take my wallet and phone when ,I go out alone. Maybe we should be asking you what you carry in your wallet. I know my hubby's is very fat, its not all cash either! But respecting one another as we do,I don't look and he don't either.

Hi, being a woman I can say there is nothing to laugh about a woman's handbag. Who have said you we just carry, make up kits etc?
You should know women are much more organized than men in general. So the things you take as strangest, are the things needed that men can't even think of when it is actually needed.

Actually, handbags are just like part of the acessories on our outfit, we carry different ones sometimes just to match the whole outfit, at least I do :-)
I put some stuff in it like my wallet of course, make up stuff, tissue, some medicine, pretty much that's it. I don't like to tuck the stuff in my pocket to influence the whole outfit so handbag is essential to me when I go out.
And yes, women's handbag is a private thing, you don't want to dig something that you don't want to see. :-p

Hello friend, you are right, a woman's handbag is a very private thing and if you want to see me get mad, don't even grab my handbag or you will get a knuckle sandwich, lols, Okay just kidding, I don't want to get violent up here but just for the record, a woman's handbag is the same as a man's wallet. If you wouldn't want anyone to go through your wallet then just leave a woman's handbag alone not unless she give you permission to touch it. Happy mylot!

In my experience small handbags are used as just accessories. If a lady is carrying a large bag, chances are good she has everything but the kitchen sink in there. Personally I carry a wallet. I have money, credit cards, check book, pictures, and change in my wallet. That's not all it will hold so I think it's big enough. Personally, if I can get away with out carrying one, I will. I think it's an inconvenience.

I have gotten past carrying a purse all of the time but when I do I have gotten it down to where the only things I carry are my wallet, sunglasses, brush, lip gloss, perfume, kleenex.....primarily only things that are essential and necessary. Every now and then you will find something of my daughters in there as she takes it with us and then decides that she no longer wants to play with or carry it.

I do have handbag but I dont have anything else beside my purse and my car keys. I know some people have just about everything in there... but not me. It looks good with a woman carry a handbag

Hi Phillip,
In my opinion, it's the attire which makes a lady carry a bag. Mens wear always have a pocket some where, whereby dress have none. So, when one practices to carry a bag, she tends to carry more and more stuffs too. Like myself I don't take a bag if I'm wearing my jeans. Since, I have got used to carry a bag, I simply carry 1 for sake of Style! LOL..

Talking about a lady's handbag is not private but prying into it in her absence is really bad manners. I personally do not like it. It may have all unimportant things but i do not like anybody being inquisitive about it.
Each woman has her own priorities and she incldes them in her handbag. Like the message in the website (given by you)-why pry and let the belongings in a woman's handbag remain personal.

Those are private stuff, i don't even wanna know what's inside of that hand carry. it's woman's mobile hand carry private stuff to have.you can't expect them to carry back pack only full of wallet, make-ups and other accessories. i think it's good for them to have a hand carry@phillip_shiny (2330)

No I don't think that men can guess the material inside a lady bag. There can be any strangest thing of the world in their bag. They really keep it private. But when they put them out many men like me are always almost shocked and say: "Oh my God! It was in your bag". They are really strange. These things have often happened with us.

lot my friends used carry ake up kits and mirrors in there bags .i saw some gals even dnt carry hand bags being i think all will not carry hand bags .mostly all will have hand bags

I love handbags/purses. I have a lot of them, different colors, styles and sizes. Some with matching shoes. LOL...
I guess one reason a woman cary a handbag is that we do tend to cary a bit of stuff like: makeup, wallet, keys, personal hygiene, aspirines, and for the mom's out there, they might end up carring things for their babies/kids frome diapers to snaks. And some of us are just packers, we got to have everything and anything in out bag, just in case. :)
I guess that's the best explanation I can give on handbags! :)

well i dont even consider looking through a mans wallet, i shouldnt want him going through my handbag.
yes many mysterious things are in my bag, car keys, house keys, lip balm, compact face powder, small hairbrush, feminine products, 2 or 3 pens, couple of paperclips, a small notepad of paper, ticket stub from seaworld, an address book with hardly anything in it, vial of poison, a copy of my resume, id, money, coins, credit cards, antacids, hard candies, allergy medicine, tissues, old reciepts, live scorpion, and last but not least...a printed copy of my plan to take over the world-a work in progress of course.
lol, nothing out of the ordinary there right?

During my college days I have a lot of friends and most of them are girls, I usually look at what are things inside their, and mostly I see some wallet, candies, cologne, perfumes, make up kits (here in the Philippines its called "kikay kit") and sometimes I have found some private things. Most of my friends never leave their houses without any hand bags, like my wife she never forget to bring a bag, so that she can carry her make ups .
