It's been soooo hot, today is much cooler

So far this summer has been so rainy, but the last two days has been so hot, it was unbearable. I usually do not mind the heat, but it has been so humid and hot, even I couldn't deal with it.
We did not bring our air conditioners down from the attic, because the weather was so cool and rainy. the last two nights my husband and I sweltered at night trying to sleep. We both slept on the couch the last two nights. Today, it is still humid, but not as hot, we just had a super dooper rainfall, I will sleep well tonight. How has the weather been where you are? Hope you are cool and comfortable.

I live in the southern US, so we have central air. No discussion about whether to hook up the air conditioners or not. But we have had a cooler than average summer. And we have had alot of rain. Set a record in July for the most rainfall on record. The past couple of days have been hot (90's) and humid. I've heard that so far this summer we have not hit 100 degrees. We may set another record there as well.

Where I live, the whole summer has been scorching hot, but i've gotten used to it. I'd just love to move somewhere cooler, but unfortunately I can't at the moment. However, i've been noticing a cool down during the past couple of days.
