Happy Lefthanders Day!

Here in the U.S. today is Lefthanders day! The one day we celebrate being lefthanded. Before on this date I would list all the famous lefthanders I could. But these days tere are too many to count.But there are three people I have noticed since last year,Chef Gordon Ramsay,President Obama,and actress Scarlet Johansson.So to all the Lefties out there ,Enjoy Your Day!

I did not know that 14th August (or is it 13th August? due to time gape between your place and my place)is celebrated as Lefthanders day in your country. Thanks for enlightening me. Indian's legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan is also a left hander.

It is August 13th. I also found out that Indian actor Aamir Khan, dear G-d I hope I spelled his name correctly, is lefthanded too. I saw him in Ghajini late the 12th . So technically it was Lefthanders Day.

I saw it with subtitles. It was great. my type of film, a little romance and a whole lot of action. Aamir does rage real well!

I am not exactly aware whether Amir Khan is a left hander. He may be. Don't worry, you spelled his name correctly. Hopefully, you would have his much acclaimed film 'Gajani'. But did you see it with English sub-titles? or are you able to understand Hindi?

At least your tried. Now you know how hard it would be to get a lefty to write righthanded.Back in the day that's what teachers would do. Thankfully my mom wouldn't have stood for that or knowing me , I would have never learned to write.I was and am that stubborn. Anyway I'm proud of you for trying. I haven't printed with my right hand in ages. I used to print with my right and do cursive with my left. But since I got into crosswords, my printing with my left hand has improved.

My sister is like youyr mom. She can write with both hands but iof it is very important, she uses her left hand.

It must be morning there in the US. 
Because i am about to sleep now. Never heard of such occassion. Though, for the lefties out there, happy lefthanders day!

I never heard of such a interesting day,i think there is no difference between righthanders and lefthanders,we all use both of two hands in our lives.but anyway,wish you a happy lefthanders day everyday!

You are so right.But for the longest time when a child started to write with his or her left hand ,the teachers would make them write with their right hand.I am so proud to be lefthanded and I was so blessed with a mom strong enough to take me out of any class if a teacher ever tried that .
