I just went shopping today. What a disappointment that was. I went to Old Navy. Great deals there and several choices to choose from for my teenage daughter. After Old Navy we went to Wal Mart. I was upset that most of the clothes in her size were WAY too revealing. I had to go to the children department which of course is not the best for an 8th grader going back to school. Is wal mart trying to promote teens to dress more sleazy. Is cheaper prices really worth our kids image?

The thing is that is what is selling at the moment and therefore that is what Walmart is going to design in order to buy more clothes. You have to realize with the junior department they aren't thinking about middle school - they are thinking about more high schoolers and trying to get them to buy walmart clothes when most will shift towards American Eagle, Hollister, etc. It is all about the styles that are top selling but when I go to Walmart actually the clothes aren't that revealing. Yes the shorts are short, and the tanks can show off your front section but should they really be wearing tanks to school? With their graphic tees and fashion tops they are perfectly fine in my opinion - but sometimes some parents are thinking more of the fashions in their time so they aren't as open minded and think everything is sleazy when its not.

I'm definitely disappointed by the way more and more teenagers are dressing nowadays. Don't mean to hate, but celebrities who have a strong impact on pop culture is making it worse, like Miley Cyrus. Did you see her actions and the way she dressed at the Teen Choice Awards? She looked 25 instead of 16. Okay, the way she dresses is up to her, but she really needs to think twice because she has millions of little 9 year old girls looking up to her. It's sad to say that Miley Cyrus and many other celebrities is making the whole world dress sluttier.

I don't mind them watching Hanna Montana but I won't allow to wear the clothes that is worn. Some are ok but others? now I have always liked how Hillary Duff and for awhile the Olsen twins kept it sensible. I am one of those parents who watch everything their kids watch on tv.

Wow Walmart is getting sleazy? What has this world come too? I agree. Teenagers these days are showing way too much skin. If you can't believe the clothes, wait until you see that Halloween costumes. They think that's appropriate for back to school. At my school that have a dress policy against the so called "sleazy" clothes, and of course sometimes I think about how unfair it is in my opinion, but I know their doing this for a good reason.

I am also. and to the children to buy clothes, very headache, her high school this year, but now the fashion of the impact of the children of this age is great. Children this age like to catch up with the pace of those star, dressed in their school, learning their moves. Hope that these trend-setting people will pay more attention to you.
