Do you try to recruit referrals for MyLot and for other online businesses? What methods do you use and what is the rate of success: how many of your emails, adverts or whatever actually become good referrals?

I've not tried yet to recruit referrals for myLot as I always evaluate a programme before I promote it and people who have been on my mailing list for any length of time understand this. The easiest way of recruiting to any programme is people who already know and trust you.... no not friends and family... if you start doing that your friends will run a mile when they see you comming.... "oh my goodness what have you found this time no thanks I'm not even going to look......" What you need to do is build a list, you must have seen it before, "the secrets in the list" especialy if you want to run more than one affilate type programme. So the next question is how do you build your list, if you want to grow your list fast you have to invest a lot of time and money (it is worth it in the long run) but most people are not prepared to do that they want to make money not spend it. A nice site I've found that is FREE!!!! and gives you 3 new leads at a time about once a week when you first join is http://www.tripleyourlist.com/index.php/janine all you have to do is be prepared to receive e-mails from other people building lists too. The great thing about these people is they are of a like mind and are trying to make money online so if its free and you earn the chances are they will take a look. Hope this helps... happy list building ps if you can set up an e-mail address just for these leads & e-mails it makes life a lot easier.

Thank you. That is very helpful advice! I agree with the 'not friends and family' (unless they want to be on the list, of course!)

some people who are on your list also become friends when they trust you. Just like I always look for your discussions as they are worth reading...:-)
