A dog put into the rubbish!

Somebody really cruel and nasty put their dog into the garbage. He was found on a rubbish tip by an employee of the site. He called for a dog warden to come and he found that the little Jack Russel dog was badly injured. He brought the innocent little dog to a vet. Luckily the vet made the little dog well again. In this recession many people are finding they can't afford to keep their pets anymore. Animal rescue places are typically quite full. Dog food has gone up in price. Vet bills can be expensive. I am an animal lover and I have two dogs that I adore. Why do you think the person threw their dog out with their rubbish? Do you feel sorry for the dog?

that is so sad, i cannot understand why people would want to harm their animals in that way. if you dont want them anymore how hard is it to ring up the local animal rescue cetnre and drop them in there? I do think a lot of it is because people cannot afford to keep them like you mentioned.

I don't understand why or how peoplecan do this to any animal. I feel sorry for the dog, but am happy he was fixed up. A town near me was in the news recently because something left a dog out in a dog crate by a storage facilty. What makes this story worse is people called the SPCA. The SPCA didn't respond until three days later and the poor dog has passed away. No food, no water, on a stifling hot day. I was shocked at the SPCA who claims theyt didn't receive the call or it wasn't relayed to them from 911. I was also shocked because at any point someone could have picked up the dog and taken it to the SPCA. I am an animal lover. As a kid I took in every stray that came my way. I would get them to the vet and take care of them, give them a loving home, and food, and water. I don't understand people. If food is too much for them, then switch to a cheaper dog food. Don't throw them away. Some people just don't care. Many animal are abused. Some are rescued. I think people should be charged with a crime for abuse and neglect. Most are if they are caught. I don't think they are very harsh punishments though.

not a nice thing to happen. i feel sorry for the dog and person who found it, if they find out who dumped they should get in to some sort of trouble for it. i've got 2 dogs their only small, but are a lot of fun. all our animals are treated like the family. from the grumpy old sheep dog he's about 15/16 now, and has had a good life with my dad. he won't get put down until it's time, cause he's worked hard and deserves a good retirement. through to the horses and even the pet lambs we end up with. their just part of our family.

Our youngest cat Paisley was found in a trash bin. Thank goodness, she was in good shape and trying to take care of some littler kittens who were thrown away in a plastic bag with her. She came to us via various wonderful drivers. I absolutely loathe anyone who is cruel to animals. I couldn't live without my cats. Animals are a marvelous addition to life and should be treated with love and respect.

Unfortunately I would not have any idea as to why someone would do something so horrible to a poor defensive little creature. I feel so terrible for this little guy. Hopefully he will find himself in a nice little home here soon with a family that will take very good care of him.

There are places you can take pets if you can no longer afford to keep them. To put a dog in the rubbish is dispicable. In Australia recently, we had the story of a puppy the had its ears, and part of its tail cut off. The little guy has been on television many times now, and finally recovered, and now is happily playing with other dogs. He has a long list of people wanting to adopt him, and soon should find himself in a good home. What is wrong with some people?

oh! that is really cruel! I think like any child adoption centre, pet owners should be validated and checked if they really need a pet and only genuine animal lovers need to be giventhe lisence to adopt. Adopting pets, especially dogs is a fancy here in our place and many believe that owning a dog means you are rich! I think the attitude is not right. When you adopt a pet it is understood that you will stick with it even during thick and thin times. I would not call myself an animal lover but i'm kind a nature lover and cannot tolerate any such cruelity, be it on a human or an animal
