What should the Mets do to get ready for next season?

The Mets longer have a real chance to win this year. What should the consider doing now to get ready for next and what should the do in the off season?

Simple. Instead of trying to buy a World Series, they should try to grow one. I mean use the the kids in the minors Plus some and I mean some good Veterans. Get them to be a team , not just a bunch of stars.
