I`m feeling so good, when i`m writing on my pc .. i can write faster, i can delete something fast , and so on. I really think that in the future we`ll write all that we need just on the PC .

Yeah you are right that in future maybe we'll write all that we have to write in computers. Typing in keyboards helps us get faster speed compared to writing on paper. But it is easy to make mistakes while typing. But that is not the case with paper! So this is really two fold. I prefer typing on the PC if you ask me! Happy mylotting!

Yeah , that it`s true , we can make mistakes typing in keyboards , but even with mistakes, we`ll delete them fast and it`s faster that the pen and the paper . I`m so happy that you chosed typing instead of pen and paper, because that`s my choice too. I think that all the young people that are typing fast, are chosing typing instead of pen and paper . Thanks for your vote !

I too prefer the pc. but once in awhile if I get an idea or story in my head, I pull out my little notebook I keep in my purse and jot it down. I've even used the memo app on my phone to write a few lines when we were on a long car trip! gotta take advantage of the brains work when it comes, right?

I started off writing using pen and paper, then typing things up on a typewriter. And I am not a good typist (blame that on missing the second, third and fourth week of BOTH typing classes I took). Even today, I have to look at the keyboard to type. Because of that, to this day, I prefer writing things out in long hand, then typing them into the computer. There are exceptations that I make: most of my college homework, and journalistic style articles. But for thoughtful pieces, I really need to do it in long hand simply because I have to focus on typing just to type. My friends can actually tell the pieces that I wrote in long hand first; they tell me that my writing voice is different when I write in long hand compared to the computer. So for me, it is pen and paper that I prefer.

It`s easier for you to have a pen and a paper wherever you go ; it`s harder to carry on a laptop , and if you are some little problems with the writing on the PC , i really understand you. Pen and paper will remain for ever for pasionated writers , like you. It gives you the inspration ... but maybe some day , when you`ll be a pro into typing , maybe then the inspiration will come faster when you`re on your PC . So, until then your vote it`s for pen and paper . Congratulations for your choice

Yeah i like to type on pc then to write using pen and paper. There is reason behind that lots of control required for good writing on paper and pen whereas in pc you just have to press buttons for good handwriting. So thisis the reason behind it that i like to type on keyboard then to write using pen and paper. Happy mylotting!!

It depends on what I'm writing. If I'm writing something like an email, or a discussion for MyLot or something that isn't TOO important (no offense email/myLot) - then I'll definitely rather go straight to it without writing any kind of rough draft on paper. But if it's a paper/assignment for school, I LOVE handwriting it first. For some reason, I'm much more attentive to my mistakes when I see them handwritten and in front of me, and I'm more likely to take my time (and fix errors, change sentence patterns, etc) rather than rush through it - like I usually do while on the computer. Not totally sure why. So, for me, it depends on the particular situation!

Nice to see that you`re still answering to my discusions maezee . It took you some time . I think that you`re right, but, to be honest, i`m a little different. I really have much more imagination when i`m typing , because i really put it down all my thoughts faster, and in that way, i can write all that`s passing thrue my mind . i really like to create little poems and so on , and typing really helps me a lot . When it comes for school, that was once, not at college , i`m writing with my pen just on clases, but this year i think that i`ll take my laptop to type... Some of my colleges are coming with their laptops, but i`m feeling a little strage to go with my laptop, because not all from there have one, and i don`t know, it`s not fair... i think that i will not go with it at clases. Hope to hear from you soon !

Yes even I like to write on PC. You have many options like you can delete what you do not like, you can modify your writing without cuttings, overwritings which when done on paper make it look messy. Also with the kind of handwriting I have I prefer to write on PC. I do not want to write on paper today and not been able to understand it a week after :) But when it comes to solving some puzzle or capturing some vague idea coming to my mind, then I prefer to write on paper. Because in such cases you do not only write. You draw some shapes, some lines to get some relations and all and it is kind of difficult to do on PC. But for plain writing I always prefer a computer.

Another one that`s prefering typing .. it`s getting bigger this team ... . So true...so nice without cuttings , overwritings and all the things that will make our writing look messy . And everybody have his/hers style for writing, and not all the people can understand our writing , and so on . On Pc, we don`t have such problems . It will come that day when we`ll draw easily on the pc too, or on our phone, i mean, it`s already here, but it`s a little expensive such phones or such laptops with that area for drawing with "the pen "

Considering that the PC is more covenient in the sense that we can edit our writing any way we want to, there are still times that I opt to write using a paper. Writing thru it, just gives me the feel of writing more than typing on a PC will.
