I am impressed by new talent in in the US. I was happy to see Nastia Liukin, Shaun Johnson (even though she's not competing right now), and thrilled that Alicia Sacramone is back to competing, because she wants to, not because she feels obligated. Bridget Sloane is kicking butt, too. I think the US ladies are in great shape for 2012 and, even more so for the 2009 World Championships in London. What do you think?

Hi there, again! it's been a while. But sorry I found this posting on my favorite-best-in-the-world sport, gymnastics! Gymnastics is never on television stations enough, when they should be. Though I don't watch TV usually (unless at local gym with the TV on for us), I only watch in the rare occasions when there is a gymnastics competitio that I know is airing. Glad you're a fan too. :o)

Here in the UK, we do get pretty good TV coverage of gymnastics, especially now our team can win medals too! We just had the European Championships & had good live coverage for the finals days.

Oh you lucky duck/s! You'd think America would air it so much more. But barely. And especially as I have known some of the champions as well as coach! So bummed when they don't air.

Things have moved on now it is 2010 and those gymnasts seem to have been overtaken by girls like Rebecca Bross. What do you think to the new stars? Do you think Shawn and Nastia will return to top level competition?
