Someone u love is respected in society, u know there is a criminal background..

Actually I am not sure. I think women folk (mothers, daughters, and sisters) are simply not able to override the actions and opinions of their men folk. They wouldnt like to see their children's future marred. And they know the outcome of it all. They are doomed both ways. If they go against their husbands/brothers/fathers, they will be condemned by these men as well as their associates, with their children as the hostage. If they dont, their children anyway dont have good future. I was wondering whether there is a way out of this for them, and hoping somebody would suggest it.

Well, I appreciate ur honesty in questioning whether ur response deserved it. But then, when I read ur response - I also felt that as family - we dont exactly think differently do we? I mean - my father may be a staunch supporter of a party, I would not be a supporter of a party other than that. It is very very rare to find Madhav Rao Scindia in Congress, and Rajmata Scindia in BJP. Normally, we conform to the rules of the head of the family.
