Do you feel annoyed when people calls you by your full name?

Here is another discussion relating to our name.
People seldom calls me by my full name, but i find a lot of my friends gets irritated when people calls them by their full name. Also, my place people usually call each other by their full name if they are angry. So, i wanna know whether you feel annoyed when people calls you by your full name and whether people do the same in your place when they are angry?

No, not really, It may be funny. It certainly can be irritating if they pronounce it wrong. No one has tried it before. With a name like, Vishnubhotla satya surya naga murali bala subrahmanya sarma I am safe, I think!

Oh my god! is that truly your full name or your are just adding something more?
Of course if you really has that name then, most people won't bother calling you by your full name, it's too much of a bother to pronounce all that. I guess you are from India.

I am not fond of my full name, at least not being used by family and friends. I only get annoyed though when, let's say, my husband is saying it just to say it and tease me. He normally calls me "Baby", so when he even refers to me by my nickname, it takes me by surprise, when he uses my full name, he is normally doing it just to annoy me. Growing up, the only time I heard my full name was when I was in trouble, so, over the years, I have grown accustomed to not reallt hearing it much.

I and some friends used to call some of our friends with their full name and it really annoyed them.. so i wonder whether people do the same else where too.

The only people who have called me by my full name are my parents, and that's usually out of frustration. So, when someone calls me by my full name (at least in a harsh tome) naturally I think "well what have I done wrong this time?" It's not annoying really but it does get my attention. :-)

So people don't call each other by their full name when they are angry or something in your place.
