Do you own any video game consoles? If so, which ones?

Hi myLotters- do you own any video game consoles? Which ones, and what are the pros and cons of each? I'm a big Nintendo person- I own the GameCube, DS Lite and the Wii. I also own an Xbox 360. Nintendo's games are very fun and the user interface is cool, especially for the Wii. However, the graphics aren't the best. I love playing action games on the Xbox because of the awesome graphics.

Well, I'm starting to live in the past now in terms of owning games consoles! I have only one games console and that's the playstation 2. I know that this is still quite a popular gaming console as I'm sure there are many people that have not upgraded to the wii or xbox 360 yet. Well, it's all about finance! I just don't have enough money at the present time to buy the latest gaming machines. It sounds like you have quite a few gaming consoles in your pocket! I would love to have as many as that! Still, I'm pretty happy with my playstation 2, it has given me excellent service up until now. Andrew

Thanks for your response. A lot of my friends own the PS2, and they all say that they're very happy with the purchase. Plus, the games are very affordable nowadays so it's a win-win situation.

i don't own a game consoles before..in reality as game system i like more pc even to play some games too!!In reality the graphics is ok you have many titles too..and you needn't to buy a console dedicated but you can play all on your laptop as well!!so i always preferred using pc or laptop to play games than a dedicated game console!!

Sounds good! And with the computer games there's always new releases coming out so you don't have to worry about replacing any game consoles.

we have a game cube (which i guess they don't make any games for) plus we have an xbox (which they are phasing games out, so we have been able to find games pretty cheap around here). i would like to get a wii, but they are pretty pricey.

If you can, you should get the Wii. It's a very good investment, many fun games to keep you entertained. Maybe you should wait a couple of more months when demand is down, they might lower the prices then.

I enjoy playing video games, but the only actual console that i own is my nintendo 64 LOL..i know, a little behind the times (but c;mon, it was STILL a great system!!) I have always had roomates who had the newer systems, like my little brother who lives with me does now. Though i find i don't play as many games as i once used to. I have always been more into the multiplayer games...like mario cart and tetris and stuff that you can compete quickly against other players...party type games i supose you could say. This is why i have always been more partial to the nintendo game systems though. There consols have generally been set up for more players at a time, and tend to put out some of the best multiplayer games....mario card, mario party, super smash brothers, 007 goldeneye etc....

I had playstation 2 I like it because It had many games for that console and the graphics are good. But the main reason is I like it because there are many warez game for this that sold in the market. It cost me cheap just $0,5 per DVD.I know that some of you think what I was doing was wrong, but I cant help it.We are not as rich as some of you,but I think PC is better because with some emulator you can play various console game. And you can download the roms for free.
