do your moods have colors?

How do you choose what you wear each day? By that I mean what color you wear when you can make a choice. If you wake up happy do you choose a happy color, if you are stressed do you wear some other color. Or does what you are going to do with your day determine what colors you wear? Do you even think about color when dressing for your day. I have special colors for when I am facing a really stressful day, I wear red underwear, this give me courage to face what ever I have to. I can always tell myself no matter what people think or say to me I can laugh inside because I'm wearing red underwear. Do you do anything like this?

I have no idea, what ever strikes my fancy. Maybe I'll pay attention for a few days and see if there's any correlation. Interesting...

You have got a rather unique way of living and facing life. I never thought of wearing something that depicts my mood. I don't wear a lot of accessories and my clothes are those in which i am comfortable in. All i can say is i am not into all the mood wearing trend people have. I wear my mood on my face :)

Of course color do play a lot in one's life, including mine or else why would i not be using a 14 inch black and white monitor. I just said that wearing a red underwear when you are stressful is rather unique way of facing or coping stress. No offence intended though.

I don't do anything like that. None will see the color of my underwear. I care about the color of my shirt and trouser.I have no fascination about any color But I don't like red shirt. My color of skin is brown.Brown is not matched with red.

The whole point of red underwear is that no body knows but me, it's a secret that I can chuckle about when things get tough. Just imagine this little old lady who you have just pissed off having red underwear. Now you get the idea. Thanks

Actually my dilemma is on how girly or boyish should I be. I am not used to wearing feminish clothes because I have always been boyish. But because of my job, and peer pressure hehe. I am forced to wear womanly clothes which I got used to eventually, In some days, I feel carefree, free-spirited, no-care-in-the-world, I go back to my usual shirt and jeans. But on some days when I feel like i wanna be respected or wanted to create an impression I resort to blouses. hehe

ya mood swing can be reflected by colors.but sometimes colors can change ur mood.if u r depressed suddently u see a total blue sky with the redish sun u can feel happy and ur mood can swing to a positive direction.if u r very depressed and suddenly u see green grass u would like to sit on that and just relax. sometimes u r taken away by the girl because of what color or what dress they wear. so mood swing and colors are vica -versa to each other.

I do try to dress according to what I have to do in a day. I had a special Dr. Appt. with a client and I wanted something professional looking, so I wore black and white. However, my black and white socks have prison stripes, so I guess that is kind of like red underwear. I had the habit when my kids were younger, to go in and dress really nicely before taking them to gymnastics class, if I had a really rough day. Being nice to me by looking nice made the day better.Made people wonder what special thing I had going on later. I do find that certain colors reflect certain moods. I love all kinds of colors, and vary them frequently.

I base my choice on my mood sometimes but not necessarily the colour. The entire outfit can be based on how I feel. If I am sad the track pants and tee shirt will be thrown on and the hair roughly placed in a bun. If, on the other hand I am feeling happy, I will make more of an effort like nice jeans and top, a touch of make up and a nice handbag. It is more about the effort for me than the choice of colours.

What a sexy choice! When I have to do a very unpleasant job or meet irritating people I choose black clothes. It helps me to concentrate and "survive" the attacks.I wear red when I'm ready to strike. When I'm happy,I wear blue and violet, and even green which I don't like very much.I prefer bright colors to pastels.I want people to see my mood.

I never thought about wearing a special pair of undies to help me through the day. But, hey, whatever works for you! I don't think about my wardrobe too much except for my comfort level. I try and dress comfortably when I know it's going to be a busy or stressful day. I am not too particular about the colors, but I might do it unconsciously. I'll have to try and pay more attention.

I think about my underwear colour quite a bit. For example I normally wear black underwear but if I am feeling more girly then I will wear pink and if I am feeling a bit different I might wear a different print or something. It always has to be matching though lol. I do wear different things depending on my mood but the colour is unaffected by it. I tend to wear things really casual when I am in one mood and a bit more dressed up if I am feeling in a different mood.

I do wear different styles when at home or when at work. But cloths are pretty casual around here, most of the time ;a shire and jeans with snickers is just fine. Thanks

I don't know that I really dress by mood. Though they say colors can affect your mood. Like if you sit in a blue room it's supposed to be calming. I used to have a bed room with blue walls, I think it was depressing. I have colors that I prefer to wear like earth tones. I wear alot of green. Green makes me feel calm. Though sometimes I feel like wearing really light colors like yellow, sky blue, and similar light colors. They make me feel cheerful. I don't like wearing red, unless it's just a little bit mixed in with other colors. Because to me red is an angry color, though most see it as the color of love.

I don't wear specific colors to reflect my mood - but I find that sometimes, if I wake up in a great and happy mood, I will choose to wear a cute skirt or something like that - something a little fun and spunky. Other than that, I just try to wear what looks good on me that day.

Yes, when I'm happy and feel motivated, I'll wear red or yellow shirt to my office. Something that is light color would make you feel good and energize your day.

I usually don't even worry about what I'm wearing. I have play cloths that I wear around the house and their basically all in the same color line. I do think your red underwear thing is funny though...it reminds me of the saying "Just put on your big girl panties and deal with it". LOL ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Hey pat! I'm lmao! I think whatever works for you is great! I like the underwear thing! I have alot of white undies so that wouldn't work too well for me! Sometimes what I wear just depends on what I'm doing and it's less about my mood! Once in awhile if I'm in a really good mood, and that's not very often I will dress in bright colors to fit my mood! But, more often than not it's more about what's convenient, comfortable and what I'm doing that makes the decision!

I'm not sure, I choose the color of clothing associated with mood. May occur spontaneously, without me realize. I open the cupboard, and then choose one of them. Sometimes the clothes I have chosen, I change again with the other, the more comfortable.

Hi Pat. Yes, I often think of my moods being associated with color. In fact, through the years, color and mood phrases have become standards: in the pink of health, green with envy, etc. When dressing, I often seem to choose something reflective of my mood at the time. When I want to bolster my courage, I will pick a great pair of "funky" socks to wear, something with flowers or faces on them, for instance. And I LOVE to wear under clothes that no one would suspect lol. Great discussion Karen

When I am happy, I prefer some lucky colors. Red is very good, orange is also my favorite. But if I am depressed, I will take care of colors so as not to to even depressed. Depression can be caused by physiological problems. For example, stomach-ache can make me ironic. According to our traditional medicine, stomach belongs to the earth and his ememy is tree, whose color is green. So green clothes are always avoided.
