I had my laptop installed with Ubuntu, one of Linux distribution. I like it a lot, simple, and easy to use. Moreover, less virus attack than Any of those Windows version. The only problem I am facing now, it is I couldn't installed any of those Windows compatible softwares. Such as drivers, Internet Explorer; Other audio software, and Movie software. Do you have any solution to this problem? Or you might experience the same, just like me?

So windows softwares normally are not compatible with linux based one considering it is a different os...may be you can find some emulator that create the windows portion of system and so running some programs!! In reality a good point about ubuntu or open source os are softwares free so you can have many softwares for quite all operations i meant you don't need to have properli ie to browse but you can surf with firefox which is for example a good browser..or audio and video softwares are available on lunux too..you should just find some..necessary for the purposes you want...Or if you want a office suite as ms office you can dowload open office..there are all softwares you need but when you start you must search and choose which one suitable for you!!
