We just got a "grow-a-frog" in the mail and I'm taking a poll if I may of what you'd name the lil fella. He's a tadpole right now and my oldest of course is the only one awake since the mail carrier brought him. Any suggestions? Nothing to froggy? Or ???

LOL When you said grow a frog, I immediately though Chia Pet for some reason! LMAO. Anyways, hmm how about Prince? I had tadpoles in my classroom last year and I let my kiddos name them. I swear their names changed every day. I think they liked calling them whatever they wanted to, by the day! LOL

I think that any of those old fashioned names are good for pets and animals. Like, Edward. For me, it just makes it more cute. Unless your pet is used for security purposes then the cute names won't cut it. But, for a frog, that's a hard one. Perhaps, Jester or any other odd name like that. It just seems to fit for a frog. Weird pet, weird name.

I dunno I didn't buy it! Hubby did. He got it at a science & surplus store where they sell all sorts of neat science things. What could be more interesting than observing a frog develop for yourself? Only problem is we already have a full house of critters.

well..i suppose Kermit would be far to common of a name LOL... Since you refer to the frog as a "lil fella" i am assuming you are going for a more boy type name than a girl one? otherwise i would have suggested Lilly (short for lillypad) or Venus (as in a venus fly trap) i don't know.....but i think i would name him Michigan......why you ask? ever watch the old warner brothers cartoons? Ever see the one with the singing/dancing frog? ("hello my baby, hello my darlin, hello my rag time gal...") The guy was always trying to get himto dance for others and make money off of it, but he woudln't? Well that frogs name was Michigan J. Frog.....and i think if would be an intersting name, as people would ask where you got it fron, and you would have a cute story to tell them, and maybe share a few laughs about the cartoon.

I totally forgot about that character. Yeah that frog was a hoot wasn't he?!?! Almost like a toddler they do something amazing, you know a first word, first... something and then you call hubby or siblings and they won't do it!

Hello there, In my language, frog is "Katak" and in Japanese it's "Kaeru". And notice that katak is also katak spelt backwards which make it quite a unique name for a frog. Just a suggestion.
