Anti glare screen useful for laptops

Can anyone tell me whether a antiglare screen can be used for laptops. I work lot of hours on my laptop and my eye burn a lot due to which i am planning to use some it. I have never seen people using anti glare for laptops? Any other suggestions are also welcomed.

well i think laptop screens being LCD dont produce a lot of glare and so there is no need to have extra screens on them . but then if you still in need then you can def go for it.

Yes, they are very useful when I am out somewhere where the sunlight is very glaring and distracting. It gives me a better viewing of the screen than with a glossy one. However, the colors do not pop out at you as with a glossy laptop display.
