107 years

There was a woman in our church who passed away this week. She was one month shy of being 108 years old! She is the oldest person I ever knew. What a woman she was. I'll tell ya - she was one of the bravest, nicest women I knew. Once she hit 100 years old our Church had a birthday party for her each year. I mean really - who do you know that gets much past 100 years old! This woman drove until she was in her late 90s and they finally just had to take her license away from her. She was a real go getter.
I found out today that she passed away this week. It's truly so sad. We all knew it was coming because she was getting older and her health was weakening.
So do you know anyone who is that old? maybe older? I think it's amazing how old some people live to be! And the amazing thing about this woman? She was healthy at least 105 of those years!! If not longer. :-)
I hope she rests in peace. She certainly deserves it.

Wow! I know a nun who is 104 years old. She is in fairly good health for her age and her mind is as sharp as it was years ago. She is very spunky and really just makes me smile every time I see her. God bless her!

Many of my clients are in their 90's. On Wednesday one of my ladies turned 95. Each one of them has brightened my life. They are treasures.

I've never known anyone that old. I think it would be very interesting to sit and talk to someone that old though . If they are still in their right mind , you could learn alot from them about the past .
