too close to your pet ?

Oh yes have you been following my posts? When my husband and I split up it was hell on earth leaving my Maltese puppy leaving him was only half or less as hard!!!

When my dog is following me every step i make YES, I think we are too close, lol. She sometimes bothers me doing that but i know she loves me uncoditionally so i try not to fuss at her too much for doing that.

Right now I feel very close to my three dogs. They are like my shadows and two of them sleep with me. I have had dogs as pets all my life and have felt as close to them as my own family (sometimes ever closer as they never let me down).

this had been the best discussion i've had since I joined mylot ! and because so many have responded about their special pets and how close they are to us !
Shadows, I do sooooooooo understand that !
my galeena doesn't sleep with me, but right at the side of my bed and if I get up she's following me .
Yep, they are better than family cuz they will not let you down.

I feel very close to my dog and horse. However, I've always treated all of my pets like members of the family so I don't think of it as being to close. The horse I have is probably about 3 or 4 years old. He's a young stallion, in other words, and he's a little too unpredictable and my nephew's thinking about swapping him out for an older horse for me. I'm aware that I will get just as attached to a new horse as well so that's no problem. My dog is a Jack Russell Terrier Mix and she stays in the house some. She and the horse both are like my children, lol

I don't think it's possible to be too close to a pet. I have two cats right now. I talk to them all the time and snuggle with them. The older one sleeps in the bed in between me and my husband. Growing up I had lot of pets, cats and dogs. I would always sneak the dogs into my room at night. The cats had their own room.

I am very close to my Pet Gissi from the Day I saw him in those Kennels with his sad and scared eyes
I have always been close to my Pets as they are a part of my Family and always will be
But I feel I am closer to Gissi then I have been to any of Pets, due to the Circumstances I got him and also there is just me and Gissi and he is my Baby, companion and a wonderful little Man
To this Day I do not understand how someone was able to beat the little Fellow to the extend that he had been when they found him

I understand. My galeena was in the humane society and been thrown out the window of a car. Both front legs were broken and someone had brought her to the humane society where I found her.
those sad, brown eyes! how could I resist :)
We have been best buddies since and it's like we are joined at the hip :)

HI quita88, I have a sheltie, she is my lady, my blondie. I find her behind the door to greet me as soon as I arrive home from work and fills my face with kisses. She is so sweet and cuddly.

yah same here..im very close to my dogs... whenever they enter the house, they go straight to my room ... whenever they get sick, i go crazy looking for answers on how to cure it... somehow i managed to cure them with the help of herbal medicines and some vet meds... i cant imagine when im away, they will keep on howling!!!! there are 4 of them, they howl so loud...
