How to Sell Text Link Ads on Blog?

I found it hard to find someone who would buy text link ads on my blog. Well, of course, the blog is in Indonesian and it has only PR2 and I don't really know how to sell it.
I found a place where you can sell the text link ads, but the competition is really hard to beat. Most people there has specific blog with higher Page Rank. LOL.
Have you ever try to sell text link on your blog? And how did you do that? Is that easy or not to sell a text link ads if you only have low Page Rank?

I've sold text links by adverting it on my blog and then including an e-mail address for interested buyers. If someone interested emailed me, I would send them a paypal invoice for the text link. Once paid, I would place the link on my blog. Try that..
