What is the recent gift you have received ? For what purpose did you receive the gift, is it for your birthday or a anniversary etc. Your responses?

In one year I think I just have three chances to get gift from my husband. They are for birthday, lover’s day and Christmas. My birthday and lover’s day were several month ago. It seemed no reason to get any gift from my husband. And the Christmas is still so far, no reason to get Christmas gift so early.
My recent gift I got was from the boss of my husband. He was on holiday in Belgium and he bought black chocolate for me. It was very yummy and fine chocolate. I like it very much.

I have tasted the white chocolates made in Belgium, and the mere thought of it brings the saliva in my mouth. I have not tasted the black chocolates, and I am sure it must taste real good, A sweet gift.

A gift is a gift Sanjana, but frankly telling I do not know what is a facebook farmville game. Dont tell me that your husband or your dear mother in law have not given you any gifts.

as i have said earlier, some days before was my birthday and i got few gifts from my family as i do not celebrate it much. we celebrate the happiness of ours within us.
so here's the list-- their were mostly show pieces which i dont think is of any use other than decorating the house.
one useful thing was my college bag presented to me by my brother. my mom gave a a dress and some chocolates. some earings were also recieved.
ah...but i cannot forget one thing ...that it was all dark when i was cutting my cake,that is electricity power was cut and inverter was not charged too and i was sweating and cutting my cake. now , u can imagine how my special day went.

Yes most of the times we get the decorative show pieces which are of no use. What we can do is recycle this gifts and gift it to some others, so that we can save some money.
Regarding the power cut, that is the valuable gift which the state government has given you, they always give such sort of gifts to us.

i received cash 
. actually, my brother gave it to me and my child. he just came from abroad and since he cannot find what he asked what i wanted he just gave it in cash. i don't really need anything but i decided to buy myself havianas flip flops and put my son's share of that cash in the bank in his very own account.

Nothing beats cash as a best gift. You can choose your own gift. In, most of the blood relatives give cash as a gift. It is a good thing that you have started to save for your son. Everybody should start saving from an young age. Good.

The last time I received presents was during The Teacher's Day a few months ago. I didn't aspect to receive any present, plus I was new at the school at that time. So it made me touched that some of the students want to give me presents. I got two picture frames, a painting, towel and some ornaments. I think it's nice for them to give me all that and I highly appreciated it.

Young children are like that, they do not differentiate between young or the old, or junior or senior. If they like some body, they give them gifts spontaneously. They sure must have liked you.

My most recent gift was a sovenier I recieved from a friend after she's been to China. It was a cellphone strap with a crystal and a piece of rice inside with my name written on it. It was really pretty

I gave myself new tops.I am in desperate need of tops to match my skirts.it is really a gift for myself,without any occasion.this is my way of taking care of myself.
